  1. Congrats Brianna! I can do better than luck! I'll say a prayer for you right now that God's will be done!
  2. I won't be using private loans, but I am applying to a lot of scholarships. If you live in Maryland, look up scholarships and grants offered by the state. Use Google and try to find legitimate scholarship opportunities with hospitals, the state, UMSON, nursing associations, etc. It takes work, but it's worth it!
  3. I talked to someone in the scholarships department a couple of days ago. I know, for the Conway scholarship, they will let the winners and losers know. She said that we would receive an email.
  4. Alright, thank you! I do use active recall now, however, I write on paper. The whiteboard would save a lot of paper!
  5. Congrats Maya! It definitely is a relief to get that acceptance letter. We worked hard!
  6. I'm still taking courses. But I am watching videos on YouTube of students who earned A's and seeing what study techniques I can incorporate into my routine.
  7. What's good! 24 credits in one semester is wild! Hopefully this semester goes well for you. I'll say a prayer right now. God speed!
  8. What's up y'all, I received my provisional acceptance this morning for the Shady Grove campus pending completion of my courses this fall. I applied by July 10th. See y'all soon!
  9. Congratulations, future nurse Abdul! I'm glad to hear someone from this forum was accepted. I had everything submitted July 10th. Hope to see y'all there!
  10. I don't know why you can't get through. I've been calling 1(410)706-0501 and pressing option 2. I haven't had a problem getting through as long as I've called approximately 30+ minutes after they say they open or come back from breaks. Yes, the length of time it's taking is confusing. Other programs I have looked up respond sooner. Maybe they are really understaffed or something.
  11. Alright, so I called admissions earlier today. They confirmed the event happened but that they have events like such after application deadlines depending on how many seats are estimated to be remaining. Supposedly, this event doesn't take away from the amount of seat allotted to priority deadline applicants--as long as I deduced the correct conclusion from our discussion. I'm good. I've already prayed about it. No sense in stressing. God's will be done. Keep ya heads up people. We worked hard!
