Hello everyone! I'm in California and getting hired on as a sub school nurse. I'm confused as to how I can start/submit an application to get my preliminary school nurse license. Does it have to be mailed? Do I gather all the requirements and mail them in together? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know ARMC usually cut off applications at the first 300 so as long as you know the opening date and apply as soon as it opens I feel like your chances would be good. They prioritize candidates with experience and I heard their new grad program is good. If you call the RN new grad recruiter she can give you more info! Best of luck!

I was also offered a position at a Prime hospital in LA, they barely interviewed me and immediately offered me a position. I decided not to take it because they told me that it would be highly likely that I would be trained by someone with only months of experience and that my only training would be precepting for 5 weeks.

Mine was also a verbal offer, I'm not sure which wing specifically it'll be between 11a and 12a.
