Is this a violation of HIPPA?
What doctor or dentist even has the time to check up on a patient to see if they are lying about the reason for missing their appointment? Super strange and actually, "stalkerish".

Student RN Scrubs
The school I attended had a pewter gray top that we could only purchase from a specific vendor (with the embroidered school logo) BUT we could use whichever brand white pants. The uniform looked very nice, but the students hated the white pants. The school eventually went to black pants. I am personally in the "white is an awful choice for school scrubs" camp. Some nurses like to wear white, some CNAs wear white too, some of the cleaning staff wear white, some other nursing schools have the students wear white. If YOUR students wear white also it can be difficult to identify your students at the clinical site. I have seen some schools use head to toe purple, red, burgundy, green, navy scrubs - its a better idea, makes you all instantly recognizable and more of a "group". (Some schools even provide scrubs as part of the tuition - they are an education expense)

Favorite brands of scrubs and why?
I am a new nurse and interested in where is the best place to shop for scrubs, what brands do people prefer, and why? Also, what colors do you wear for your uniform?

has anyone heard of Ciaoboss?
Thanks for replying. I have worked so many temporary jobs before becoming a nurse, and I have become so suspicious of those companies especially those that do not have an established reputation. Sometimes they call your references and try to get them on board as clients OR temporary staff!!

has anyone heard of Ciaoboss?
Ciaoboss keeps contacting me for my references, so much so that it is making me uncomfortable. I looked this company up on the internet and there is little to no information on them, so either they are new, or they are scammy. They claim to be a new way for nurses to get hired, and you name your salary etc. It sort of sounds "too good to be true."

job search is frustrating
I just graduated with the BSN and passed NCLEX, and now pursuing the registration in a compact state. I am a career changer and have no experience in nursing, I am finding the job search extremely frustrating. I am feeling like I made a huge mistake pursuing this career. What is a successful way to get a job for a new nurse with no experience?
