Are there any LVN-BSN students currently attending West Coast University in California ? Im interested in this school but would like some feedback to how the program is structured, schedule, teachers ect. Would you recommend to prospective students ? Please help !

Im looking into ISU as a prospective school. Can someone please tell me what the TEAS test is and how much weight does it carry when applying. Can you also tell me if there is a passing score or is it pass or fail ? How many times can you take this test ? Thank you !

Hello to all, I just recently passed my LVN board still waiting for my actual license. Wondering when I should jump back into school. My dream is to be an RN, I would like some experience as an LVN but how long should I wait to go back to school ? I plan on going into the LVN-RN bridge program at West Coast in Ontario, CA, the entire program is 18 months. Im tempted to start in Jan or Mid next year but is that to soon. Grrrr....Please Help... Would like some advice. Thanks :0)

Hey guys, Just an update. My friend took her NCLEX PN and she got her results on thurs. She took her test Sep 4th, She went to 205 and thought she failed. Well..she passed !!! So, for all you out there that swear you fail at 205..not true. I went to 85 and thought I failed. Remember its just a number you can pass or fail at 85 or 205. Good Luck to everyone

Hi everyone...just want to check in and see how you guys are holding up. I mailed off the check for 120 on oct 3 to get my license. I will now have to wait 3-4 weeks. grrr.....I waited 5 weeks for results, now another 4 weeks for the license. Gosh.. this is crazy. Im not abt to start work until my employer can actually verify me on the BON website and with license in hand. Trying me to patient

If you are in Cali look into Lifesavers NCLEX review. I did the review 3 weeks before my test and passed the fist time with the min quest.

I had no math calculations, and passed. I think its a good sign because math calc are considered lower level quest.

Im a morning test taker but the only slot that was available was noon so I took it and passed.

All you can do is wait it out. I know these next few days will be torture but thats all you can do. It can go either way. Try to keep yourself busy. Good Luck and keep us posted.

i got my results today after waiting just under 5 weeks. i went to the mail box and there it was..right there on top of the rest of the mail in a regular size envelope. i ran in the house and fell to my knee's and it read in bold has passed !!! god is sooo good....i want to say thank you to all of you that have kept me in your prayer. i truely believe iam here today living my dream because of god and i also believe that this is his will for my life. you all are in my prayers and remember.... do not to give up on your dreams.

Does your state offer quick results online ???

Thank you for the uplifting words.....I guess Im on the defense and I dont want to get my hopes up. In my life thinks dont come the first time, it seems like I have to fail the first time to get it the second. I know its wrong to think this way but its hard cuz thats just how things tend to go in my life. I also have to remember that God is in Control of all things. I have to be reminded of that EVERYDAY so Thank you ! I will let you know as soon as I get my results...hopefully tomorrow

The comp will score you on your last 60 quest to determine pass or fail.

My comp shut off at 85 as well. I took my test Aug 30 and still waiting for my results....Cali. I still feel horrible, I got alot of infection control and rooming in, a few priority, 4-5 SATA, No math computations, one fill in the blnk and one exhibit quest. Ive been told that we have a pretty good chance of passing but who knows. You will be in my prayers. Good Luck !!!

I read a post on this forum that if you run out of time the comp scores you based on the last 60 quest.

I think everyone feels that way after NCLEX. Its totally normal to feel like you bombed the exam. Try to keep busy and catch up with family and friends and hope for the best. Chances are you passed !!! Good Luck

Well....I called the BON today and I was told that my reults were maild out yesterday. Sooo...I should get my results either today or tom. Im scared to get the mail. I know I didnt pass, now its going to be confirmed. Please say a prayer for me !!!

Hi TiffanyMarie25, You are not alone !!! I took my NCLEX PN Aug 30, my comp shut off at 85. Im in Cali so Im still waiting for my results, it now 5 weeks Grrrr ....I felt the same way the first week after my test. There is so much anxiety and nervousness. I know with out a doubt I failed. I know I was doing good at first but once I started getting questions I had no idea what the answer is, thats when I started to freakout and everything went down hill from there. I was soo angry that the computer didnt give me a chance. I knew If the comp shut off at 85 I twas BAD. All I can say is try and keep busy and keep your mind off the test. I've been able to keep myself pretty busy but this week has really been hard because I know my results are coming any day. I have known people that have passed and failed at 85 and 205 so you will never know until you get yout results. Dont you have quick results in your state ? Good Luck

I totally understand every word you are saying. I sat for the PN boards Aug 30 and my comp shut off at 85... the minimum number of quest. I left in shock...I know myself and I know I failed with out a doubt. I should be getting my results anyday now. I seriously guessed on way to many...I had 3-4 SATA, No math, ALOT of infection control and rooming in. I know I did soo bad in that area and pretty much my test was all over the place. To be honest only time will help you feel better and get over it. The good news is that if we failed we can learn from our mistakes and weakness and take the test again. What doesnt kill you will make you stronger...Right !!! Keep your head up and know that you have support and that others are in the same boat. I plan on doing Suzanne's Plan when I get my results.
