  1. Does anybody know anything about Union Memorial in Baltimore? I have to make a decision by Tuesday about a cardiothoracic stepdown position. Thanks
  2. Don't take that unless you just really want to go that location (really bad). You can make alot more money somewhere else. Also, I wouldn't go through the hassel and stress of the PBDS for $23/hr.
  3. I just took and passed the PBDS at Pitt Memorial in Greenville. My travel company as well as the hospital let us know before the contract that if we failed we were going home.

I talked to a recruiter yesterday who mentioned a position at University of Maryland Medical center. The pay before housing or anything else is $23. That's a night shift in Med/Surg/neuro. She said the $3000 completion bonus at the end makes up for the lower hourly pay. This would be my first travel assignment. Doesn't sound too good to me. Any thoughts?
  5. One called me, more than once, to scratch her foot for her.
  6. My sister graduated from there 3 or 4 years ago. It was a pretty tough program but she was well prepared when she graduated.
