  1. Thank you so much for your reply! It's such a good news you got your TX license! I will certainly follow your steps later on. May I ask during your trainings in Australia, did you have theories and clinicals in OB and peads? I'm asking just because I don't have those and I was wondering if that would affect the outcome. Thank you, Em
  2. Hey Vivi ? Thank you for getting back to me! So sorry to hear that NV did not work out for you. While I was waiting for you last week, I also applied for NY, and same here, I used my preexisting CES paperwork for NY CVS. Surprisingly I got the CVS report in just one day, too good to be true ? (For the people struggling with CGFNS, hang in there, you will get it!) Now I just hope NY has not changed their rules so we can get by!! And did you order another AHPRA CoRS to NY? They want it directly rather than through CGFNS. That's what I did, I could be wrong, but just thought to remind you this. If we are lucky and end up getting NY license, we should celebrate!! And maybe do the make up units together (if we ever find one). Look at Inbox for my contact details ?
  3. What about Telehealth? like nurse on call?
  4. totally agree with you
  5. My experience is go on nurse pool or nurse bank, try different wards, you will taste and know which ones you hate, then come down to a selections of the ones you liked, then go from there! So try to experience it then let your feelings guide you! Hope you will find something you love about ?
  6. I heard from my research friend, who left because the Dorctors were too demanding, there was not much autonomy for him. Just to keep that in mind it might happen. But I guess there is always a good side of research as others mentioned ?
  7. I agree with the others. Try detach and leave it behind. Take care!
  8. Hi Vivi, Just wondering how are you going with the course, would you be happy to share? Thanks very much , Em
  9. Oh no so sorry to hear that... Hopefully you are in a better position now. I do find this on the NCLEX website 'The NCLEX can be taken in any state convenient to you. The results will be directed to the nursing regulatory body where you applied for your authorization to test (ATT) and licensure.' So how come MN nursing board saying that? Is that even correct?
  10. Long story short: Great hours, great work/kids balance, crappy pay, ED experience preferred, hard to get in
  11. Popping Pony replied to Jouba's topic in Canada
Oh Really! That's definitely a skill to have, thanks for sharing ?
