  1. I did! Received an email to do an on-demand video interview yesterday after applying and completed it today.
  2. If you don't mind me asking - for what unit and did you interview already or still at referred to hiring manager?
  3. I applied only for the October cohort because I won't be graduating until August. My application still says Applied, Application Received.
  4. Just checked and got the same!
  5. Has anyone been referred for LJ special procedures? Still waiting on that one
  6. My application for JMC BMT 6 just got moved to "others more competitive" also
  7. I received an email similar to the one others got this morning stating that I had been referred and the last hiring date is August 26th etc, but nothing else yet from either of the units.
  8. My status for Surgical ICU just changed to "Others more competitive" today
  9. Congratulations!! Is it in person?
  10. Has anyone heard from Special Procedures or Neuro ICU?
  11. Hi hi, it's all dependent on department but from looking at previous cohorts, it takes about 1.5-2 weeks for everyone to be referred to hiring departments in the initial round and then more happens later!
  12. I truly believe that everyone who applied deserves a spot, as we are all trying to get to the same end point of being successful, empowered and well-prepared nurses. Having years of hands-on healthcare experience is something that many new grads simply do not have and sets you apart from other applicants. It is crucial for all of us to remind ourselves that not getting one of these spots is not because you are under qualified or that anyone is more suited for the role than yourself. There are just way more applicants than openings. Many of us will not get into a residency program, have to move out of state, or begin our RN journeys in outpatient settings. Regardless, I 100% hope it works out for all of us, even if it ends up looking different than we expected.
  13. Hi hi, I am not internal but I went to UCSD for undergrad and had an internship + volunteering through Moores Cancer Center so I believe that helped:)
  14. Super hoping for "referred to hiring department" for all of us!! Just sharing so others have an update that apps are being screened for those positions as I haven't seen anyone else mention them yet:)
