  1. Does anyone know where I can get mock patient charts or clinic progress notes for a classroom setting without making them up myself? Is there a place for that? :) Thank you!
  2. Travel Nurse x 8 years. Seeing rates lower or same as staff lately. What is going on? I've been taking local contracts because it's so hard to find housing with the stipends provided and make a contract worth it. It seems even local contracts are down - have that many travelers gone back to staff that places are now "fully staffed"? Or just working without the extra help? Nurse's deserve to be paid well, along with other healthcare professionals.
  3. ? Congrats! I'm so glad I came across your post. My Husband and I are currently trying too, I've traveled for the last 8 years and have done HEDIS Nursing through the Winter months. This time of year is a great time to get into a remote Nursing position. Companies will be hiring for HEDIS Chart Review Nurses later this month and into November for part time. Part time = 16-20hrs per week up to 40, your choice depending on how much you want to work and some don't what time of day you work as long as you're getting a minimum in. I teach and have a fast track study guide to HEDIS Nursing. Take Care!
  4. Healthcare in general is definitely upside down and nowhere near where they "should be" in a lot of places. Feels impossible as a Nurse sometimes.
  5. Give yourself some grace, nursing is a tough profession. I struggled with this on med/tele floors, sometimes I felt like I could never do EVERYTHING I knew my patients really needed in a shift. Exhausting. I've done travel Nursing x 8 years, recently changed specialties to outpatient Nursing and have no desire to be back at the bedside. Things will always have a way of showing you what's right.
  6. Hi! Are you still looking for remote work? Search for HEDIS Nursing opportunities. The remote hiring season will pick up in the next month. I offer remote resume template and a fast track HEDIS study guide if you need info!
  7. Hi! Have you looked into HEDIS Nursing? It's chart review so no telephone work. Companies start hiring now through December for the Jan-May season. I have a straight forward study guide if you're interested in learning!
