I got an email from the school with login information so I just assumed they got it haha. Did you make the DukeID for the portals? Let's do it! Lmk the link, would love to join.

I actually haven't even looked into signing up for classes yet, but I've been using the same exact portal we used for application.

They said sometime in Nov, definitely before thanksgiving. The faculty and students were very nice, I was quite impressed at how supportive and welcoming they were. I also really liked everyone who were interviewing— they were all smart and nice nurses. I honestly won't even be upset if they got the spots and I didn't haha

I got my acceptance email today! I'll be going to another school so someone will hear back from them with a good news! I actually asked about that during my interview. They said most students dropped out for personal reasons, financial being the biggest one.

I just got a call! They will be sending out emails around noon today with the results.

What I've heard from current students on the interview day was that the interview determines 100% of admission. So everything you submit in application determines if you get the interview spot or not. Then the interview itself determines admission from that point. Not sure if I'm explaining it well

Got it, thank you! I had a missed call from NC, no voicemail and didn't pick up when I called back so I wasn't sure if it was from Duke. I'll wait until tmrr haha

I did not, the rejection letter was for the interview itself unfortunately!

Also received an invitation in the middle of the night, they sent out another email saying there was an issue with the link and we need to send in a list of preference of date/time. When I did, I got an automatic "I am currently out of the office" email so I'm not sure what is going on haha

I got an email today, and interviews are offered on Thursday, October 26; Tuesday, October 31; Thursday, November 9; and Thursday, November 16, 2023. October 26 slots were all filled up. November 21 if you want a virtual interview. Good luck everyone!!

I wonder how competitive it is this year for Duke, heard from another school the competition this year is even higher than other years.

Hi! I have 7 years in nursing, less than 2 years of ICU, science GPA 3.8 with some graduate level courses, I did shadowing and CCRN, PALS, ACLS for certifications. I also added research experiences in my resume. I don't feel like I did that well in the interview cause I was so nervous but we'll see... Keep hopes everyone!!
