  1. No, haven't heard anything either. Have you checked in at all with the admissions team? Did you apply anywhere else this year?
  2. I haven't heard anything about anyone waitlisted from other applicants. I'm certain they will have one - every school wants to fill their class completely and the next several weeks to months will likely have movement as people with multiple acceptances start to decline programs. Have you tried to reach out to the admissions office? (FYI: As someone offered admission - we weren't given a hard deadline to respond. It's possible they're waiting to hear back first from all offered admissions. Understand still waiting to hear back is so tough - hang in there if you haven't heard an outright rejection yet! Best of luck!)
  3. Happy to share but also remember, you're a unique individual and that's how you should present yourself. They want a well rounded class and get so many qualified applicants, you'll stand out by showing them who you are. Definitely take the necessary steps like certifications etc. but also do them because they'll make you a better nurse NOW and a better CRNA in the future. Best of luck on your future apps! I have nearly 9 years ICU experience in a MICU, Level II hospital, major transplant center. I have my CCRN and CMC. As a second career RN I have my Masters. Hold several leadership roles. I wouldn't have waited so long to apply but honestly COVID and having 2 kids delayed my initial plans ?
  4. I also interviewed the second day.
  5. What a roller coaster of emotions today - just got mine too! Congratulations everyone and hang in there to the rest!
  6. A current student I spoke with said the 45 number had been mentioned to them initially for this next cohort - but then in my interview they said 35. This person got the sense, from other faculty comments, that they were possibly planning a larger waitlist this year but sticking to the 35 class size. That might account for the 45 number. Out of our hands now, best of luck everyone!
  7. Nothing specific. I did reach out to the Office of Admissions to ask about deadlines as far as when those admitted need to accept by to get some sense of timeline. Their response said November 10th is the deadline to accept an offer of admission. They reiterated that if a spot opens up for anyone on the waitlist they would be contacted directly by email. They also said that someone could be pulled off the waitlist up to when courses start because at any given time an enrolled student can drop the program. Hope that helps. Are you applying anywhere else this year? If you're waitlisted you've got what it takes - don't be discouraged:)
  8. I was waitlisted as well. Congratulations to those who received an acceptance! I'm hoping some spots open up on the waitlist eventually.
  9. Just checked the interview signup - out of a total 60 interviews per day and 120 total, there are now 16 unclaimed time slots. No idea what that means (ie. people haven't picked a time yet, are doing a zoom instead of in person or are going to decline the invite.) There were instructions on how to withdraw an application in the invite email so maybe some who already got accepted to their top choice schools would decline and open up more slots. They said further instructions will be emailed by November 1st. Hopefully anyone on the fence notifies the school well before then. Good luck! Not beyond what was sent in the email. Looks like they're keeping track of the large amount of interviewees by taking our pictures first. The sign up makes it look like we rotate through groups somehow and they mentioned getting to visit their lab and talk with current students afterwards.
  10. JUST got the interview invite email! It was sent around 4pm. I'm working both days so now need to get at least part of a shift off!
  11. It may have missed your primary Inbox, they said to check all spam folders etc. after app submission just in case. Look around for this title: An update on application reviews for the DNP program at Saint Mary's. It was sent on October 3rd.
  12. Got an update email from Saint Mary's yesterday saying applications are still under review and they're preparing for interviews. Looks like on-site only 2 days. Seems they wanted to give a heads up so we can schedule. Nov. 3rd & 4th. Still waiting on actual invitations - hopefully not too much longer to wait. Fingers crossed!
  13. I felt pretty good, the time flies by! They were very kind and I was impressed with how the process was organized; they really tried to put you at ease beforehand. It's just so tough now with all this time to wait and try not to overthink;) They said decisions would be out end of October or early November - I think the last interview date is October 12th. Good luck to everyone!
  14. Hey, thanks for asking! I think well, always tough to tell after. The time flies by! They were very friendly, tried to set up the day for low stress, I was impressed with how organized and efficient it was. Have you had yours yet?
  15. Anyone know when they're sending out interview offers? Probably at least a month after the application deadline? I hate this waiting part the most.
