  1. Waitlist??? Girl they're not even done with interviews yet and your talking about waitlist ?! You were one of the lucky ones to get an early acceptance, most people haven't even gotten any response yet post interviews.
  2. Congrats! How far out are the interviews? I see on their website it says early November!
  3. What were the questions like? Were they hardcore or more straightforward?
  4. Hell no, but I'm ready for that rejection email ?! I hate schools that wait to give out rejections, like just send them all out at once! LOL
  5. I'm just studying the common drips I put on my resume to the receptor level but that's about it!
  6. Did they drill you on things you weren't very familiar with? I'm nervous to get drilled on things like NUERO which I have little to no experience with! Girl same! I work with two nurses with less than a year of experience who got into multiple schools! I'm praying I get in on my first try this year!
  7. Nice, I'm reviewing CCRN book as well as it's been a while since I've looked at it! I'm the opposite, I prefer EI questions over clinical! I feel like with EI you can showcase your personality and way of thinking much better, I rather get a question about what insect I prefer to be than a neuro pt which I'm not very familiar with. oh wow. It sounds like your definitely preparing! Do you know how long the interviews are?
  8. HAHAH thanks! I hope we get some news by next week! how have you been studying/prepping for a potential interview? I heard they're heavy clinical based! I hope that's the case! How have you been prepping for a potential interview?
  9. Oh geez, that's a scary thought, especially since I've heard that their interviews are hardcore clinical-based. Do you know if they do their interviews in person or virtual?
  10. Has anyone heard anything yet? They're website says interviews are early next month which is in the coming weeks.
  11. What a waste of paper and time, I know someone who got an interview there who doesn't even have an year of experience as a nurse so IDK how "competitive" they actually are, which makes me feel even more like ?! I definitely will keep applying, but I surely won't apply to them again with how poor their communication is. Have you landed any interviews?
  12. They sent rejections through the physical mail? Are you kidding me? No way!?
  13. Did you send me something? Because I didn't get anything! Or are you saying to check my email as that's where they told you they'd send notifications through?
  14. Did they reach back out to you? I tried calling multiple times and nothing ?
  15. Did they let you know that you didn't receive an interview? Or did they wait until they accepted people to let you know you wouldn't receive an interview? I'm applying this year and those who didn't revive an interview yet have been completely ghosted.
  16. Thanks for that info! Do you know how many people get interviewed? I read in past threads that they interview a ton of people and it seems like they interview almost everyone that applies, or is the application pool that large for the program? I think last years thread someone said about 150 were interviewed ?‍?! And there's only like what 20 spots???
  17. Oh makes sense! Do you know if they send out interview invites all at once? Or do they send them in batches like some other schools?
  18. Did they wait til November to give you a rejection? Or was that because you got an interview and they waited to send out acceptances and rejections? I'm applying this cycle and they sent out interviews but have left the rest of us with zero communication, I have even tried to reach out with no luck!
  19. No worries I was expecting a rejection already, I just wish they would send them at the same time so they don't have the rest of us waiting and hanging on a bit of hope! CONGRATS on your interview invite! I hope you kill it and guarantee URSELF a spot! What were your stats like?
  20. Why can't they send rejections at the same time!??? Where did you get your invite in your personal email?
  21. This waiting game is brutal, especially when you've only gotten R's so far this cycle! I'm convinced I might have to go back to staff to even have a shot, I've gotten told already by the first schools that rejected me straight up that my biggest weakness was being a traveler. Like WOW!? I'm working at level 1's as a traveler and taking on some of the sickest patients, I'm even doing rapid response and charge because the staff is all new nurses! Yet two of the nurses I work with currently have barley one year of experience and they both have already gotten acceptances to multiple schools ???
  22. Did you try reaching out to the school? At this point I'm convinced they shredded my application already ?
  23. I just realized they didn't ask for a resume LOL, I must've had horrifying letters or I very likely botched my essay, although I asked a lot of people to read it and got nothing but positive feedback. At this point I think a lot of schools hate traveling nurses, I think that's my biggest weakness. I already had one school tell me straight up that they rejected me only because I am a traveler, and if I would've been staff they would've offered me an interview ?
