  1. Did you try emailing people through psychology today?
  2. Never heard of them. You need to be aware of scammers. Check and see if there is a LLC registration.
  3. I was in the FNP track and used matchnp. I found them transparent and the most affordable. It was really disturbing how much some of the other agencies were charging and the horror stories. Matchnp was easy and handled all the paperwork too. My preceptor was nice and she taught me a lot.
  4. I'm sorry! What agency did you use?
  5. I used MatchNP because they were more affordable. My take on this is that without them I would have to sit out again because my area has a big PA and MD student population from 3 different Universities. I was competing with students from those programs for a clinical site. Those MD and PA programs pay the offices to precept their students. That was confirmed by the practices that I reached out to. Needless to say MatchNP was cheaper than the rest and the quality of the rotation was excellent. I graduated and passed boards.
  6. Try an agency like MatchNP. It costs money but it was fast and secure. Worth it.
  7. Can't speak for either of those but I used matchNP because I shopped around and they were the most affordable option.
  8. I would try MatchNP to find a preceptor if you can't find one on your own. I used them and they were responsive and fast.
  9. Hi everyone. I am a student at Maryville University's FNP program. Our program does not help us find preceptors. I have used matchNP for helping me find a preceptor and it was stress free, easy and I had a great experience (highly recommend). I was wondering if there were any other ways to find a preceptor for my last rotation? I have used social media and LinkedIn aside from calling offices.
  10. Yes, try matchNP. It is ran by an NP who has been through the process herself and understands clinical placement. I have heard horror stories from my classmates about other sites placing them wrong and not being able to get a refund. I had an amazing experience with matchnp! I wish schools helped more with this though!
