I take Xanax and Lexapro and have tried numerous antidepressants and antianxiety meds over many years. This combination helps tremendously for me. I don't think nurses are the only people taking this category of meds.

I graduated from an accerlerated BSN program in Maryland. Yes, you must have a previous bachelors degree to qualify for such a program. Accelerated programs are generally 2 years because most of your credits transfer in and aleviate the need to take prerequisites for a 4 year degree. Your nursing program may require some prereqs for their program which you did not take the first time around. With me, I had to repeat all my sciences because they were more than 10 years old so that took me 2 semesters before I could begin the nursing classes. Good Luck.

I PASSED! I took NCLEX Monday in Maryland and was sure I bombed after 215 questions. Boy was I wrong. Believe in yourselves! IT will happen. I graduated from an accelerated program on Feb. 15th and less than 2 months later I am an RN! Still so hard to believe. Good Luck to everyone and congrats to all who have passed. Thanks so very much for the qiuck and dirty drug facts--a huge help in my preparation for NCLEX. BTW, I am officially a graduate nurse! I took my last final tonight in complex med/surg. Yeah! I can't believe it's over--I start the Kaplan review on Monday through March th. My hope is to take NCLEX towards the end of March or early in April. All of the tips are extremely helpful and actually helped me with my last two exams in complex med/surg. My best wishes and prayers to those of you taking NCLEX at any time soon. Stay positive--you all have the knowledge base to pass and I know you will all be wonderful competent nurses in your chosen fields. Keep up the good work--it is worth it! Thanks again. :chuckle
