  1. Classes 4 days/week Mon-Thursday. About 4 hours each class, plus an online class. Tons of studying needed outside of class plus writing papers for your online class
  2. There were very few of us who could actually work. Maybe over the Summer, but expect about 60 hours per week to devote to school starting in the fall. apply for graduate plus loans by filling out FAFSA. Any private loan that goes directly to the school will just deduct from those funds anyway, so try to exhaust them first
  3. All didactic classes are held in Wichita for both OK and Wichita cohorts. Your cohort assignment is for Clinicals only. So, yes Wichita cohort will do clinical in Wichita. Although, there are some sites we travel to such as Pratt, Salina, Newton, etc.
  4. Just curious, what/who are you sending e-mails to?
  5. Congrats everyone who got in!! If you guys have any questions about the program, what to expect, etc let me know! Look forward to seeing you all on campus next year ?
  6. Yes she was at Tulsa previously. And as CamillusRN stated, the assistant director left 2 weeks ago. Our clinical director is sitting in as interim at the moment.
  7. Seemed like last year they sent them out in waves.
  8. Let me put it this way. They will ask you questions until you get to the point where you don't know something. It's over your head and that's OK! Just simply say "I don't have an answer/I'm not sure but I would be happy to look that up and get back with you.” They typically stick to your background but know the basics... what do all the bumps in an ECG represent? what are common gtts you use? Sedatives? Pain meds? how do they work? What should I monitor for? What are their reversals? if you haven't started studying, I don't mean to make you nervous but interview letters should be going out this week or next if they keep it to the same timeline as my cohort
  9. I believe my cohort received 130 ish applications Hoping things will be ironed out before this next cohort starts. There's been a lot of internal changes and re-arranging the curriculum. Lots of growing pains, that's for sure.
  10. Interviews are roughly 30 minutes though sometimes longer. They will drill you with questions. Know the whys of the interventions you do down to the receptor/molecular level.
  11. I'm in the 2023 start cohort. Got my interview email the 25th of October and interviews were first week of November. Acceptance emails went out the week before thanksgiving! We have new administrators this year so not sure if anything will change ☺️
  12. First semester is entirely online
