Hi! Can I ask which Scripps location you started at and why it was your dream hospital? I'm considering an offer from Scripps Mercy but still have an interview with UCSD. I'm applying from out of state so I'm not very familiar with these hospitals or anyone who works for them so I'd love to know why you went with Scripps!

For those of you who interviewed, are you able to give any insight into the kinds of questions you were asked?

They said in the webinar that they've already sent out 80%+ of interview invites (I think only PCU had a few slots left) and they were finishing sending them last night and today for interviews next week. It seemed a bit late for this webinar which was to tell us about the program and hospitals and help us be successful applicants, when a lot of people have already done their interviews and they said that basically if you haven't received an interview request by now, it's unlikely that you will this cycle.

Mine said med/surg acute overflow I'm not really sure what that means. Is that like flex staffing? Or like a waitlist type of offer? Or a unit type? I guess I'll find out I'm just very curious

I got referred to hiring dept on 10/31 and applied to ICU, PCU, and ED and never heard anything back but got the email about the webinar. It seems really late for them to still reach out for interviews at this point so I'm not sure how to feel.

I just applied on Dec 8 and haven't had any updates yet but does anyone know if they offer virtual interviews for non-local applicants?

I put Tele/DOU as my #1 since I had preceptorship on a cardiac step-down and surgical as #2. I felt like the options were really broad and mostly med/surg and PCU?

Same I got one for Mercy SD but it also doesn't say a unit
