I thought it was funny how CVICU is what I stressed in my interview and also what I did my preceptroship in but NTICU wanted me ?Will you be at the concord location?

Just finished my interview today. It went really well. Ended in discussion and giggling so fingers crossed! I was asked questions like about a time when a patient got mad and how we handled it, a time I got constructive criticism, etc. I did my preceptorship in CVICU, good luck to everyone with your interviews!

Thats okay! I am open to answering anything ? I did my preceptorship in CVICU at a level II trauma center in Sacramento so that probably helped especially since they have a cardiac program!

No they didn’t specify she just said ICU! I didn’t have time to ask many questions she was going super fast.

Hi! I graduated in April and got my license early May. I think they take that into consideration because she did ask me when she called me and on last cohorts thread I saw that they wouldn’t interview one person until they got their license. Doesn’t mean she won’t call but the timing might not line up right! Best of luck.

Yes it is extremely frustrating. I am lucky to have been picked for an ICU in northern CA so for now I am just going with that offer unless I get a better one. They offered me 73/hr for night shift so I am definitely happy with that starting rate. Best of luck to you! Are you in state or out of state?

So excited for you! I’m just trying to understand where I went wrong. What unit did you do your preceptorship in and did you do clinicals at UCLA? I am a northern california applicant with my preceptorship in CVICU. I was hoping at least for an interview but my application still says in review. Do you know how many spots they had for that unit?

I have yet to get an email to schedule an interview for CVICU. My application didn’t change to in review until Thursday though not Tuesday like the other people said. My application also still says in review on my portal. Should I be worried ?
