  1. Hey sorry, just seeing this now. I am currently at Ontario Tech University. Going into Year 3 in Septemeber.
  2. Thank you, I didn’t do any upgrading courses. You should be fine then! I think minimum is mid to high 80s average.
  3. I am currently in the 1st semester. The program is called Nursing Post-PN Bridge. If you go onto the Ontario Tech website you can find more information and program map as well. 1st semester of the program is 3 courses and that is your "bridging part." You need a 60% in each class to move into the BSCN portion and full class schedule. You can still apply! I am just warning you it is highly competitive!! Good luck!
  4. This is a valid question. Once you complete the 2.5 year program you will receive a degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Once you graduate you have to write the standardized NCLEX exam to obtain your RN status and then apply for your nursing license. Hopefully this helps and good luck!
  5. Mid 80s I believe?
  6. No worries! Hope all went went well with your finals. I ended up deciding Ontario Tech University in Oshawa!
  7. I accepted and confirmed my offer at the Oshawa campus a couple days ago. I applied to residence and hopefully I get in. Maybe I will see you in September.
  8. I was given an offer to UOIT both campuses and George brown-Trent bridging program. My average was mid 80's for RPN program. I believe UOIT has courses that you can take to bring up your average. You will have to look on their website under the Bridge to RN page. I went to the admissions table to see if I had any outstanding documents missing and the woman at the table said "It's a HIGHLY competitive program and some people apply 5 times and still don't get accepted." Minimum average is 75% for George brown just take a look on their website. Have you thought about Athabasca? its all online except for 4 week placement you would have to do it out there in Alberta. They take new students per month and it's go at your own pace. Keep your head up and stay positive!
  9. Congratulations! I received an offer from both Barrie, North Oshawa and George Brown College bridging program full time. I am not sure which school I want to attend! Maybe I will see you around campus in the Fall 2022. I have some grandparents who live in Wasaga maybe better for me to commute from there to Barrie compared to living on residence at North Oshawa.
  10. I applied as well to George Brown College Bridging program as well for Winter 2022. I received an offer beginning of February and received one from Ontario Tech University beginning of March. I haven't decided which school I want to attend yet. Hopefully you hear back soon!
  11. I have received an offer for fall 2022. I am deciding if I want to go to Barrie Campus or George Brown College. The program is highly competitive but don't be discouraged! Hope you get an offer soon!
