  1. I am in for FNP! But also just had an amazing meeting with another school that I got in. Don’t know what I will do ?
  2. yeah I think that sounds great! are you open to connecting on facebook and we can create the group? if there’s a way to send a private message here I’m happy to send my name or if not then maybe email? LOL
  3. Thank you so so much for responding so thoroughly! I actually have a meeting scheduled with the Assist. Director of Student Service tomorrow to go over any other questions I have, so looking forward to that. I love nature and outdoor activities (spent last weekend snowboarding in Stowe actually) so that's something I am really looking forward to being in the area. I think right now I am just feeling a little scared & overwhelmed from making such a big decision, but not really knowing anyone in the same boat. Have you been able to connect with admitted students? I was wondering if there is a facebook group or something for us to get to know each other better.
  4. Hi there! Congratulations on your acceptance :) I also have been accepted (FNP track though) and would love to chat more about the area and University. I added my questions below, and any help is appreciated. I am leaning towards UVM (submitted my deposit today) but still feeling a little nervous about going in that direction versus a school in Boston. - What are some of the areas you recommend to look for housing? Do you think being within walking distance from the hospital/UVM is a must, or is driving/parking manageable? - Have you heard from current direct entry nursing students about their overall experience at UVM? I haven't had any luck finding current students to talk to. - Do you have any experience in regards to how supportive and communicative UVM faculty is? In regards to getting enough clinical practice/simulations, helping with clinical rotations, post-grad job search. - How's living in the area/Burlington like year-round? I am based in Boston, and have come up to Stowe quite a bit, but only visited Burlington once and not sure what to expect.
  5. I just received an email from a current student in the program asking if I have any questions about the application process or program. I have not heard back yet regarding admissions though…. so confused
  6. FYI, I just got my acceptance letter this morning!
  7. ah thank you! fingers crossed. I submitted mine on dec 1st and I believe it was verified on nursingcas that same day/fairly quickly. I know they were behind on reviewing applications for the FNP track. I wonder if anyone has heard bad news yet? like rejection letters?
  8. ahh thank you! I think I got so excited I only read my scholarship letter ?.
  9. also applied by the early deadline and anxious to hear back!
  10. got my acceptance and scholarship today as well! does anyone know when the non refundable deposit is due? it did not say anywhere in my letter. also, where did you sign up for this info session?
  11. I had my interview January 10th and have not heard back yet regarding admissions. has anyone heard back from around that time of interviews? I was told it would take 1-2 weeks but getting a bit nervous.
  12. Hi guys! I applied closer to the deadline, end of November, and have not heard back yet. Has anyone who applied later heard from them yet? On the website it says decision letters will go out end of the month so just wondering if I should be worried or not.
