Same. I haven’t heard anything either. UMass is my top and I had to put a deposit down elsewhere in case I don’t get in. Starting to get discouraged….

Thanks for clarifying. That’s good that you can get RN experience. The student I spoke to said that not having a BSN is a red flag for employers. Also, she said clinical placement is an issue no matter what school you go to.

Yes, I also heard poor things about this program. You don’t get a BSN with this program, so you do not become an RN first. Therefore, you have no experience as an RN before becoming an NP. Many employers look for a BSN and RN experience. I was interested in Simmons, but once I found out about this, I have really taken them off my list.

Mine is tomorrow, too! My interview is with the assistant director of admissions too and I believe he handles all admissions. I reached out to a current student and she says she loves it. Good luck tomorrow!

Yes, I saw that. I hope so. UMass is my top, it’s supposed to be a great program. I talked to a few people in it now and they said it’s super challenging but they love it!!

I applied for FNP. I heard the decisions come back on the later side, around February. I’m just nervous that some decisions will come back earlier and deposits will be required before we hear back from all schools!
