  1. It is going to be a lot of work, especially in the beginning. You have to make time to get it all done, I suggest you do any work/homework the night you get it and submit it. I say this because each class will have work and as you go through the week it will start to pile up. DO ALL assignments and homework, do not miss one as it can be your saving grace in the end if you are sitting close to the cut off. your first exam (don't worry if you do poorly) it is a new way of thinking with nursing questions. It IS doable, I planned a wedding while doing this program. TIME MANAGEMENT!!
  2. Hi all! If any of you have any questions about anything, let me know! I just graduated from the fall 2022 class. It's hard work but 100% worth it!
  3. I forget the deadline, but I had 57 points total
  4. We received the acceptance letter on May 24th last year, good luck!
  5. I can’t find the last four books on fa Davis - are they only at the bookstore ?
  6. Allen family first clinic- they are my primary doctor, I got that special blood test done. But CVS will do the skin test, but you have to go there twice, once to get the injection under the skin and then within a certain amount of hours to get it read.
  7. Me too- I didn’t realize the TB test was only good for a year so I uploaded an expired one and waiting for the results of the new one. I also haven’t received my blue card. I honestly don’t think anything will happen, as long as everything is ready to go by the 22nd.
  8. I did! I’m so happy!
  9. The emails should go out around Memorial Day (from what I remember from the information session on zoom) how many points did you end up with ?
  10. I am! I’m anxiously waiting for the emails to go out.
  11. Congratulations with applying ! Hoping for us all to get in! I have 57 points in total, and I’ve got my fingers crossed for us! I hope there is a quick turn around for emails to go out!
  12. I didn’t see a thread started for the LVN program (fall 2022) at Collin College. Who’s applying and how many points do you have so far ? Is this your first time applying? If you have applied before but received a rejection letter how many points did you have then? Very excited for this upcoming admissions but also super ANXIOUS.
  13. Yes I made sure everything was correct on the application and double checked my email was correct like 5 times just to be sure, and I dropped it off in person on August 30th and was directed to the ADN drop box by staff. I checked my email I put on the application and looked in every folder spam etc… and even checked my Collin email even though I didn’t put it on the application. I’m just really at a loss right now
  14. I called and emailed. The call went to their voicemail and I left a message. I emailed Diane and never heard anything back. And no one returned my phone call. This morning I emailed Karen. I wish they were open today so I can call instead of waiting until Monday. ?
  15. Question- is there anyone on this thread that hasn’t heard anything back yet in terms of acceptance/ rejection letter? I called and emailed last week to confirm they got my application, because I haven’t received any emails… and haven’t received an email back nor phone call…
