To everyone who got placed on standby for Palomar's Nursing Program, stay positive. ??? I already accepted my seat at MiraCosta's Program, so I'll be giving up my standby seat. This will free up a space for those who are waiting to be accepted to Palomar. ???

It's so disappointing how Palomar just leaves everyone else to wonder. ?? It's kinda cruel! Those who applied worked so hard and made countless sacrifices to even turn their application in. The 15th is Monday. ?☹️ If this is how they are during the application period, how are they during the actual Nursing Program?☹️?

Congratulations lalaachala,? I accepted my seat too, but it's for MiraCosta's Generic RN program. I just completed all the requirements they asked for as well. Make sure you start on yours ASAP. ?

Hi Heidi Ortiz, Congratulations on your acceptance to Grossmont's Nursing Program???? I applied and waiting on Palomar's RN Generic Program . As for Miracosta, I applied to their LVN to RN bridge program in Jan-2022 and also waiting as well. I might put my name in the hat for their Generic Program next month. ?

I also applied and according to the email from the Nursing Department, we should receive an update by mid-March, Lord willing.

As for the update, Palomar is not accepting any LVNs for their Bridge program this application period. It’s is, what it is?. I’m not giving up though. Keeping my eyes on the prize, no matter how blurry my vision gets at times☺️?.

Can I ask how many LVNs were admitted into your cohort, 619nurse? I’m in the mid 60s on the waiting list. I also applied to Palomar’s Bridge Program not to long ago and was notified that they were not accepting any LVNs in the Fall.

I received an update from Palomar a few weeks ago. Sad and disappointed that they will not be accepting any LVNs for the Spring 2023??. Congratulations to all who were able to secure a spot for their RN program. ?Trying to keep my head up.?

I submitted my application in January of this year, but I wasn’t aware that I can inquire about my approximate waiting time to get into the program. I appreciate you sharing this information with me, especially how rigorous the Summer portion of the bridge program is. Reading your response gave me hope that my waiting time will be well worth it! Nik99, When I was in LVN school, some of us were using NCLEX study guides to review for each module. This helped in measuring how much of the material we understood. It’s all about the nursing process, rationales, being able to understand prioritization, to name a few. I also have text anxiety. To control my anxiety, on the day of the test, I showed up about 10 to 15 minutes right before the exam started. I freaked out seeing and hearing my classmates reviewing before the exam. It caused my anxiety to sky rocket. Remember to review your notes often. Re- write and organize them, it will help reinforce the material in your mind. You got this!

When I wrote my original post, my intention was for those who applied to Palomar’s Bridge program application period of 2022. ??‍♀️ Anyway, I wanted to share an update to my RN journey. ? I received an email from Palomar’s Bridge program a few days ago and that they’re evaluating my application.?? They’ll be reaching out again, hopefully within a few weeks.? Remaining prayerful and trusting in the Lord. He will make a way!??

Hi Nickyw, Actually there’s is a facebook group that a member score 100% on all areas of the TEAS7 test. She took a picture of her ATI TEAS7 results and share it with the group. It’s called, ATI help study group by smart edition academy. I think it’s the first time ever someone score 100% on all areas of the TEAS7. She included valuable tips on what resources she used and how she used them☺️. I’m currently a member and it’s such a helpful group. It’s free btw, you just have to submit a request to join.

I’m so happy that you were able to complete your prerequisites, TEAS and put your application in tayand235??. I think you have a great chance of getting accepted. Grossmont has a wonderful nursing program but it’s not my first choice because I live about an hour away. Gas prices are ridiculously high ?. I’m hoping to stay close to home. Have you applied anywhere else?

No worries tayand235?. Yes, this is my first time applying at Grossmont’s bridge program. I also applied to Palomar’s and MiraCosta’s bridge programs as well. I’m waiting to hear back from Palomar, but I’m on MiraCosta’s Bridge program waiting list. I’m guaranteed a seat with them. ☺️ I’m honestly not in a rush at this point in my career. I’m just using this time to complete my BSN prerequisites and saving money. I plan on not working when I get to be in the program, Lord willing ??. Hi everyone! I wanted to start a line of communication for all of those who are on or off Miracosta’s LVN to RN Bridge program waiting list. My hope is to provide an area, so we can ask questions and find the answers together. A little bit about myself, I was placed on the list early January of this year. I know the waiting list is now closed but I wanted to ask for those who are fortunate to be accepted, how long was your waiting time? Does anyone know how long the latest waiting time is for all of us who are still on the list? I hope this post will help shed some light to all who are in the same situation. Good luck!
