Hi everyone! I'm an out of province applicant and was recently accepted to the program! For those that have attended UBC already or are local to the area, do you have any suggestions for housing? I understand rent is quite expensive in the area, but I was looking for recommendations for good neighbourhoods, student housing, etc.! Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! I had a question regarding different programs and was hoping this thread might be helpful in answering it! I've recently been accepted to UofT and am waiting to hear back from McMaster and UBC. Before I make any decisions, I wanted to learn a little bit more about placements and opportunities within these programs. I'm incredibly interested in rural healthcare, and I am hoping to work in remote/under-serviced communities following school. Given this, I am wondering what the opportunities were like between these 3 schools for working/completing placements in rural communities? I hope this question makes sense, and thank you in advance for any information you can provide me with! Thanks again!
