  1. Congratulations!! The letter for me came via email a bit later. Also once you pay the deposit you'll be provided with all of the info you need. See you in the fall ?
  2. Congratulations!! The dreadful wait is over! I just got mine as well (Al-30). Good luck to everyone else still waiting!
  3. Thanks for your insights I appreciate it! I will do everything I can to be prepared and accept that the rest is out of my control. Hoping to meet you all in the fall!
  4. Hello everyone! I'm wondering if anyone can offer me any advice to my situation... Based on this forum I am currently sitting as the next person in line on the waiting list. I am from Ontario and have been accepted to Western University's Compressed Time Frame Nursing. Western is my second choice but nonetheless I am holding my spot as backup. I am getting anxious about the timing of the cross-country move and if/ when a spot at UBC is even going to open up. To those accepted, have you registered for courses and/or paid a deposit? Is there a lot of preparation for starting the program in September? Should a spot come available in August, do you think this is enough time to move to Vancouver and be prepared to start in September? Any insight is really appreciated, or at least thank you for listening to my stresses LOL
  5. I will share if I hear anything! The anticipation is driving me crazy, I feel everybody's waitlist pain!
  6. Yes, I am #30 and am still waiting to hear. Fingers crossed!
  7. I am #30 on the wait list!! Ah I'm so nervous!
  8. I had those exact two notifications today as well. I feel your pain! The deferral letter from Western is regarding your pre-requisites. I'm only completing one pre-requisite (anatomy/ physiology) and was told by admissions not too long ago that they will likely need my final grades to make a decision. She told me that there were plenty of acceptances to still go out and just have the marks in as soon as possible.
  9. I've been waitlisted as well. Does anybody have any previous waitlist stats? If we can't know our position it would be at least nice to know the number of people on the list.
