  1. It's some where around 15-20 mins. I would say convey as much information you know about the topic, as per like time around 2ish mins should be good!!
  2. Hello! I'm currently in the program at MWU. It's definitely more clinical based! You drive your own interview, like say they will ask you what type of patients you care for in your ICU, and whatever disease process you mention, you should know about it at the cellular level and all the whys associated with the disease. If you work in a specific ICU, know the specifics of that ICU, like if you work in CVICU, know the hemodynamic numbers and what they mean. Know specifically which lines you manage, specifically arterial lines (like what each section of the arterial waveform means). Definitely know about the pressors, sedations, and paralytics (MOA, what metabolizes them, their half-life life) Hopefully! This helps let me know if you need help with anything else!
  3. Honestly, I'm not 100% sure about the validation period for the pre-reqs! I believe as long as you have a strong GPA, you should be good! Umm! We haven't been notified of any such thing! However, I know that MWU plans to accept 45 students this time around, as they have added two more spots to our cohort as well.
  4. Hey! I know that schools like you see the applicants returning, as this solidifies that the specific student really wants to attend that particular school. It also depends on what changes you made to your application as well!
  5. Hi, Everyone. Good luck with the application cycle. I'm currently attending Midwestern. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
  6. Yes, I got off the waitlist at a school closer to home. They offered me on 6/17.
  7. Hey everyone, I was offered an interview, but I turned it down. Hopefully, it opens a spot for someone else.
  8. Do you guys think they called everyone today? Based on the way they started calling towards the end of the day!
  9. I emailed them today and all they said was: "I do not have any updates for you at this time. All applicants will be notified via email of their status"
  10. Hi Everyone, Did anyone reach out to them? It's quite interesting that we haven't heard anything back yet. As per previous threads, they heard back within a week of their interviews!
  11. Hi everyone, Good luck to everyone interviewing, Does anyone know when we can hear back from them post-interview?
  12. I emailed one of the admissions team member and they said they don't any update yet. I'm assuming we'll probably hear back from them after 02/14.
  13. Hi, everyone, I know they have already sent the interview invites but has anyone received a rejection yet? I haven't received anything from them yet so just assuming that I didn't make the cut.
  14. The application was submitted via NursingCAS right? When I was applying, I was told only to submit it on the NursingCAS, not the portal. Did anyone else also submit the Nursing CAS?
  15. Does anybody have any insight into what their interview process looks like? Do they ask clinical questions or EI?
  16. I am super confused about how many invites have been potentially sent out? Does anyone know how many people they are interviewing.
  17. Is the application process for Barry Uni on a rolling basis? If so, I wonder did they even considered the applicants who applied closer to the deadline? Thx for your input
