  1. As far as I know, it's most of the GE stuff. I would refer to this website: https://www.usfca.edu/admission/undergraduate/transfer/transfer-credit in order to see what requirements you would need from each college. Please note that you do not need to finish all of them. Like, right now, I only have like 2 classes to take - ethics and theology.
  2. Yup! I’m just waiting for all my decisions before I commit!
  3. I just hope this isn't an indication of how well the school is run. They said April 30th? And some of us still don't have decisions?
  4. I think I have a strange case. I checked my portal several times, but it says I still do not have a decision? This isn't my first time applying here, and I'm wondering if anyone has had the same problem?
  5. I’ve been told before or on May 5th, but I also have not received mine.
  6. Not at all :// I remember them saying it would be here at the start of this week. I did receive my physical package in the mail today.
  7. Anyone who was accepted for Spring start, are you guys able to deposit or check your transfer credits? It says my user doesn't exist ://
  8. According to their website, we will be drug tested before starting clinicals. I know that any college would be asking for vaccination records. I cannot say anything for sure about classes. I'm not sure about the timeline that we do these things in, but we should expect them.
  9. I believe you will only be deferred if you apply for fall and have lots of classes done already. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.
  10. I think if you have a majority of them done, you will get deferred to Spring! I've taken extra classes because this is my second year of applying to nursing schools. I shared my stats a bit earlier in this thread, but here's a smaller version: Overall GPA: 3.66 Science GPA: 3.5 Bilingual No letters of rec 200+ volunteer hours Wrote my essay about becoming a professor
  11. I wish I was off work :c I'll be in the middle of my shift at 5:30, but I know that whatever decision that I receive, it is not an indication of what I am worth as a person. Stay strong you guys! Even if we get an unfavorable decision today, we can always try again ❤️
  12. Ahhh. I remember when I came across this dilemma writing my essay. I talked to my sister and vented about my fear and anxiety about it. She told me that there is no way to guess what a "good essay" is to someone at USF. I really took that to heart and wrote about my essay from personal experience. I also included what I wanted to do with my essay (I wanted to become a professor).
  13. I want to know what determines you get deferred though. Like what makes me good enough to be deferred and not straight up rejected like other applicants.
  14. Do you guys know if they will defer students to the Spring start if they finished prereqs?
  15. I'm honestly not sure if knowing the date makes me feel better, but I'm glad they're transparent about it at least!
  16. Yeah for sure https://usfca.zoom.us/rec/play/ODB6SeHemmT0GCGGP6_tc57RdA9BNgLdXegBcipJ8h_NyGCUoZ_tgVTNisSqteXtneSDmqom5MTQrcFJ.tD2u7ZjjoBBGblho?startTime=1613001340000<br />
  17. So I rewatched the nursing information session on Zoom. They said that the average GPA for admitted incoming transfers was 3.5 - 3.6. They have a lot more emphasis on GPA for transfers than first years. They also look very much into essays. I think the statistic was 383 applicants, and they accepted 88 students which put them at about a 23% acceptance rate. From the video, I think this is the Hilltop campus. They didn't go into much detail about the admissions for the Sac campus.
  18. I don't know if they do this, but if they reach out for some sort of verification, I think you should be able to prove employment.
  19. I did mention them in my resume. I didn't note this in my earlier comment, but I am also bilingual. So I sent documentation of my bilingual seal and my volunteer hours from my hospital. I did not send anything about my current tutoring job. Edit cause I forgot the second question - I also applied to Dominian University of California. Only private schools for me because I have yet to take the TEAS.
  20. Oh! I didn't notice that at the bottom of my transcripts, but I do see a degree was rewarded! Thanks so much!
  21. A quick question to the people with degrees, but did you guys send in the documentation of your diploma? I have an AA, but I didn't scan it in
  22. I see! I kinda thought of the middle of March because of what it says on the applicant page! I never heard of decisions coming out in May, but again, I never attended a session. Good luck to everyone though!
  23. Hey everyone! Just made an account to share my stats! I applied to the Hilltop campus. Overall GPA: 3.66 Science GPA 3.50 (My school doesn't count pluses or minuses, but I did get 2 B's and 2 A's in my prerequisites) 250+ volunteer hours in a hospital setting Current job is tutoring kids (Hopefully good) essay about wanting to become a nurse educator! Did you guys notice that they are sending out decisions mid-March, or am I just crazy? I remember reading online that they come out April 1st?
