Yes she teaches Adv Concepts. & Leadership. I would make dynamic quizzing your best friend and read the rationals for leadership. Don't just do the standard quizzes. Even though it's a leadership class which is a NCLEX prep class it's not taught like that at all. There's exams & a final. I would start reading respiratory chapters and cardiac chapters now if I were you. Respiratory was our first exam & we did not do well as a class. So read it, get to know it, learn it, know it! I also would recommend going over Mark K lectures as a resource just to hear it taught a different way.

Hey guys ready for school!? I wanted to see if any of yall know of any cheap student health insurance? I was going to use EJSmith but I don't want to pay for it and they don't accept it. This is the only requirement I need to turn in and im stressing about it. My job doesn't offer to PRN employees so I'm kinda lost... ANY Help?

Everyone that got into the program and does not have health insurance. Did you guys use EJSmith student insurance, or does anyone know if SJC offers health coverage to students? I need insurance before I start this semester and don't have any. HELP!!

You shouldn’t have had to pay the $150. And yes you must start the Declatory* order early bc it can take months for them to send you an outcome letter. Which most nursing schools require before clinical. The $150 is if they needed to investigate further in which the txbon would make you aware so you could pay for it. So you may have put your self even further behind in the process. Everything is a waiting game with txbon, trust me I had to do it. Since you have some type of charge expunged or not you will never receive a blue card. You will receive an outcome letter stating you will be allowed to sit for NCLEX. Hope this info helps.

I don’t think so bc that’s based on how quick the TxBON sends it to you. So you nor the school have control of that.

I think they are all due before the start of school. That’s just been my past experience. But I’m sure you will find out at orientation. I do know when I got my acceptance I was told to purchase castle branch and have my drug screen done by Oct 17. But other than that I was not given any further deadlines.

I got accepted already with San jac. But I’m doing the lvn to RN transition.

I applied to the lvn to RN transition Program and got accepted. The deadline was extended to 9/30. And I was notified yesterday. So the acceptance and denials should be coming out soon.

Hey! I waited and waited to see if I found a thread and nothing. So I was like OK I know I’m not the only one out here. LOL I honestly think they extended the deadline because they didn’t have enough applicants. Have you heard anything like that or know why they extended the deadline? ??Hope we get in!

Question! What email did you include in the HESI transcript request form if you didn't use the Department ID number the school provided?

Yea she sent me a text messages saying ”Hi My name! My name is Nikki and I am Enrollment Coach with UT Health Houston. While reviewing your enrollment profile, I noticed you are missing a document. Please call me back at this number so we can order it for you free of charge. This is important to make sure your application is reviewed. In the case that you are currently taking courses at this institution please let me know.” I think it is a scam bc she sent me links with UTHealth headers on these forms she wanted me to fill out but some were misspelled and they were not from the school website either. But what got me was she knew what I had turned in and what I hadn’t turned in yet. Do I thought that was weird too. I emailed the school and all they said was no one works here by that name. But to me that’s like a security breach type thing right? Like how did she know which items I turned in or not? IDK I didn’t fill em out.

Did anyone get contacted by some lady named Nikki claiming to be an "Enrollment Coach" for UTHealth? I find it super sus. and she told me that she wanted to help me complete my application even though the deadline had passed.
