  1. Based on previous years they usually take around 5 from the waitlist for FNP. I'm not sure how many they take for CM.
  2. Hi, the last day for us to submit our deposit and letter of intent is today, so it's very unlikely that anyone has been accepted off the waitlist yet.
  3. The last day to accept our offer and pay the deposit is 4/14.
  4. I got my acceptance this morning, and also interviewed on the 18th.
  5. I also got in!! Congrats to everyone and can’t wait to meet you all ?
  6. Hey everyone. I applied for both the July and August 2021 start dates. I just received an email saying they completed an advisory evaluation of my transcripts (everything is completed). What is my next step here- do I need to set up some kind of appointment with an advisor? Or will the admissions office reach out soon with either an interview invite or a rejection email? Thanks!
  7. Same! I thought it was just up until this Monday so roughly 96 interviews granted. Where did you see the extra interview date @JenforNP ? Either way, good luck to all.
  8. In terms of structure/what was asked during the FNP interview, I personally think we should wait until everyone is finished interviewing to discuss how it went and the questions that were asked. I feel like it's super unfair to discuss these things now because people interviewing later would potentially have an upper hand in what to prepare for vs. someone who interviewed earlier. Just trying to keep things fair for all!
  9. Does anyone know how many seats are available for each FNP cohort? I was looking on their website and it says 54, but is that including both Fall and Spring (so 27 for each)?
  10. Hi everyone! I know this is the thread for last year's application cycle but I wanted to reach out to see if anyone in the current class would be able to answer my question. I was placed on the alternate list for the fall 2021 entering class- does anyone know approximately how many people are accepted off the alternate list, and how many alternate spots are given out in total?
  11. Everyone check your portal, they just posted status updates. I was waitlisted. Does anyone know how many people they typically accept off the alternate list?
  12. Hi! Has anyone who interviewed heard back yet? Hope everyone is having a good week so far.
  13. Does anyone know what date in May the BSN-IH program starts? Or when we would be expected to be down at campus for orientation?
  14. I think a facebook page is a great idea! Does anyone know if/when we would receive scholarship or financial aid information? Or if someone who already has a bachelors in another field would even qualify for aid? I'm super interested in attending the program, but it seems like a really drastic (and expensive because I'm out of state) decision to make on a weeks notice with very little info provided.
  15. Thank you! I guess I’m just a bit confused as to why it’s ~$30k more than the MEPN program when the two are nearly the same length.
  16. Hi everyone! I was also just offered a seat in the BSN-IH program for Summer 2021. Does anyone know the length and total cost of the program? For reference I have already completed a bachelors degree in another field, and have all prerequisites done.
  17. When I got an invite to interview they sent it straight to my email (no message saying there was an update to my portal). When you log onto the portal, they provide you with a link to set up an interview date/time. If you’ve already interviewed or did EAO, your final decision (acceptance, rejection, waitlist) should be available if they just emailed you.
  18. Did you receive an email or an actual physical copy of an acceptance letter?
  19. That's correct. Everything should be on nursing CAS, and if you're verified on there you should be fine. You'll receive a decision from JHU via email ?
  20. Interview wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. It actually went by super fast. I'm not sure if every interviewee gets the same questions, but one or two of them caught me off guard a little bit. I feel like it's a tossup on how I did: they either really hated my answers or really liked them LOL. Only time will tell now. Good luck ?
  21. I am not sure why several people on here are stating that JHU is an Ivy League and running with that narrative. Surely if you have attended or researched the school at all you would know that it's not. An excellent school to say the least, but it's not an Ivy.
  22. I refreshed several times on my application status page and it finally showed up.
  23. Waitlisted for PNP- PC. Does anyone know what the chances of getting off the waitlist are and how many waitlist spots they offer for each specialty?
  24. If it makes you feel better I completely missed this question on the app and didn’t answer it LOL. I was still accepted.
  25. I did 2 essays. My word counts were roughly 450 and 500 words. This is my first time applying. I had a little over 300 hours in an internship program at the hospital, plus around 15ish hours shadowing a PNP. I also had around 100 hours volunteer tutoring kids. GPA was 3.62 and prerequisite GPA was 3.64.
