Be prepared to answer "tell me about yourself", why you want to work at the facility, your goals, how you manage stress, conflict, teamwork, and time management behavioral questions. Hope that helps! What unit are you interviewing for?

The same thing happened to my portal as well last week. Around 5:15pm the same day I got an email saying there was an update to my portal, and received my decision letter. I think you will get a decision soon!!

Best of luck to you all! A week before I got my decision, I received an email about a background check, but it was an email asking to provide missing information.

I got waitlisted for the accelerated program ? I know for the traditional program decisions go out later. So you might hear something in the next couple of weeks! Good Luck!!

Hi, I didn't see a forum for the TCU Fall 2021 nursing program, so created one. I applied to the accelerated program and awaiting a decision. Did anyone receive a decision yet?

I still haven’t heard anything. I was told by the admissions team that because of the clinical placement element of the DABSN program, they do not use the same admissions schedule as the on-campus programs.

@wildepanda Thank you! Yes I’m currently in Texas and hoping to do clinicals in MA or the DMV area.

@wildepanda that’s awesome and you have a lot of experience as well. Thanks for sharing! I spoke to someone earlier this week over the phone about possibly doing clinical placement in another state and he said it shouldn’t be a problem. So hopefully I find out a decision soon.

Hi! I know this is an old thread, but had a question for those that lived in the DFW area and got accepted to the Emory D-ABSN program. Where did you complete clinical placement? I was told the program cannot place Texas residence, so wondering if you did your clinical placement outside the DFW area. Thanks so much!
