  3. If we want to go to a school that has a pass rate of “0.00%” then that’s our choice. We don’t need a mediator to make that choice for us, but I understand some people are really concerned for our well being. Take care ☺️
  4. I’m not putting words in anyone’s mouth, with 44 years experience I’m sure you know what your taking about. Have a good day ☺️
  5. Write a letter stating you would like to request all 3 classes. Send it to admissions (email) they have the last say at the end of the day. Good luck!
  6. It’s best if you contact an advisor in regards to the in-depth of questions. I’m just here to let you all know it’s a “legit” school and yes people are licensed in Ca. I am almost done and good luck to those of you starting November 2021! Take care!
  7. “Blue Print” is right on the nose! Don’t expect a “step by step” guide on what’s gonna be on your exams. HESI makes the exams….
  8. Lessons, PowerPoints, Quizzes due every week x15 weeks. Midterm/Exam Simulations, Case Studies, Zooms, etc. There is also an exit exam!
  9. Honestly it’s a lot of work, once you get into a routine it becomes 2nd nature. You can do it!
  10. If you contact admissions and state that you would like to take Med Surg I and Psych along with Pharmacology, they will allow it. They don’t recommend it, but it can be done.
  11. You can petition to start Med Surg along with Psych. It’s a lot but that’s what I did. You can petition to start Med Surg along withPsych. It’s a lot but that’s what I did.
  12. Yes, It’s basically just to show you the resources available to you during the program. It’s easy.
  13. I don’t understand your question. Are you talking about the orientation where you are tested on Navigation of the platform? If so then yes you’ll have guidance, meaning if you get any wrong someone will help you until you get it right. This only applies to “orientation navigation”
  14. Proctoring is very very strict! No Children, pets of any kind, no noise period. No looking off the screen, no talking, reading aloud. If you do, you’ll get a “0” for that exam. Trust me, it’s the truth!
  15. Absolutely
  16. Assignments are due every Sunday. They open on Mondays. So you'll have assignments due back to back. As long as they are turned in on Sunday, you don't have to submit every day of the week. It's best to but if you're working then as long as they all are submitted by Sunday, you'll be fine.
  17. I'm in Northern California and work with a registry as a travel nurse (I also live in Northern California) Pay $54
  18. I had an x-coworker (RN) that got a DUI while in Nursing School. He sat for his license then passed the NCLEX, he was able to get a job with us but had to have an RN on duty during the first four hours of his shift. He also had to keep a log with signatures to turn into the board. This was for a whole year.
  19. Hope everyone is well during this pandemic. Just wanted to wish everyone the best who is starting this November 2021. I am wrapping up my semester as I type. Finals are in a week. Then into Capstone! You can do it. It's alot of work and lots of people post negative comments about the school, but at the end of the day; do what's best for YOU! xoxo
  20. ICHS provides a list of facilities to choose from.
  21. True. Do what's best for you! I just finished up (3) classes including (2) labs thats (5) classes and it was ALOT of work! You can do it. My recommendation would be to study other material along with the school material. For example, I'm already studying for the NCLEX and studying other material along with the school material for the EXIT exam. I'm doing this so that I benefit in both. Good Luck to you!
  22. Not true! Still accepting students.
  23. I was told you can break up these days. You’ll have to set up your own clinical days with the sites and days offered. It’s best to do this in advance because slots get filled up very fast!
