  1. I also got offered a spot at the Jacksonville campus today! I'm beyond excited!! Will someone explain to me what we need to do for Castle Branch? Do we need to purchase all of these things individually or does the first one listed include everything we need?
  2. I also got a rejection email. I wish I could say it was unexpected but it's still heartbreaking. Good luck to you and everyone else on your journeys!
  3. Congrats to everyone who got accepted! I’m still waiting for an email as well but I’m trying to keep my head up. No news doesn’t necessarily mean bad news! I really hope I get in and can call the rest of you classmates!
  4. Thank you!! It looks like I can access it since I have a UCF ID. Unfortunately admissions is closed right now but I’m planning on calling as soon as they reopen on Monday. The application seems easy enough to fill out so it shouldn’t take much time at all. I appreciate your help!
  5. I’m glad I’m not alone here! I’ve been seriously stressed out about it haha. I just made a meeting with an admissions counselor! Thank you so much I had no idea you could even do that. That’s awesome we can open the nursing application! Are you going to go ahead and submit yours or wait until you’re accepted to the school? I’m sorry I don’t know if retaking the course would put you at a disadvantage. I would think as long as you have that prerequisite you should be fine. They’ll likely look more at your GPA.
  6. Hey everyone! I'm still waiting to be admitted to UCF. I applied in late October but I kept hitting snags getting all the paper work in. Does anyone know if I can access the nursing application even though I haven't been admitted to UCF yet? If not, would someone tell me what's on the nursing application so I can be prepared? I'm just worried because I have a feeling that if I am admitted, it will be cutting it close to the nursing application deadline. Anyone else in the same boat?
  7. Sorry I know I've asked this before but I'm still confused. Did anyone who didn't get their undergraduate degree at UF have to send in official transcripts from colleges/universities they went to transiently? Also did anyone send in official AP scores from College Board? I know these things are listed in my official undergraduate transcript (which I sent to UF) but I'm just worried they'll need these other documents too. I've sent a couple e-mails to UF but haven't gotten a response so I'm kind of freaking out!
  8. Thank you so much! I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) but she hasn’t gotten back to me yet. She’s been so helpful throughout this while process! I had to pay to unarchive my scores too! What a scam...
  9. Agreed! I sent my application and undergraduate transcript in mid-October and it wasn’t until yesterday that I realized I needed to send all these other things in, and that was only because I called UCF and asked. I’m pretty sure no one would have told me if I didn’t ask. I’m worried they won’t even admit me to the school by the time the nursing application opens. Now I’m worried that UF required the same things and I didn’t send them in
  10. UCF needs me to send all of these things and they didn’t even tell me they were required. As far as I knew, my undergraduate transcript was enough
  11. Random question. Did we need to send in our high school transcripts, official AP scores from College Board, or transcripts from schools we attended transiently? I’m currently in the process of sending all these things to another school who didn’t tell me originally that they were required.
  12. For the essay portion on NursingCAS, did you all include include the questions and then respond underneath them or did you just number your responses?
  13. I just entered my classes manually (only the prerequisites) on NursingCAS and sent in my official transcript to UF. Just to confirm though, do we need to send our official transcript to NursingCAS as well?
  14. If you enter the HESI without showing your room or actually talking to a proctor, just know that something is wrong. There should be an exit button in the HESI program, click that and go back to the ProctorU page (don't freak out like I did. Once you connect with a proctor, they'll give you an access code to get back in). Once I got back to the ProctorU page, there was a little icon to message someone, so I just sent a message there for help. It took about 5 minutes for an actual human to start talking to me but once they did, they sent me a link to download the software where the proctor verifies your environment, computer, and ID. My proctor was very understanding and was able to let me back into the exam without a problem.
  15. I'm glad it wasn't just me! I have no idea how it even happened, I just followed their instructions and my exam began without a proctor. Because of that incident, ProctorU is the worst proctoring service I've used, however, my proctor was extremely nice and forgiving once I connected with him.
