Hi! I had a 3.9 in my pre-reqs, 3.68 overall. I received an 82 on my TEAS and I am currently an EMT. I also volunteered at my local community hospital. And I do have a B.S. in Business Administration.

I’d love to jump start my studying! What are some topics I can start focusing on?

Hi guys! A space recently opened up & I was offered a spot for the Spring 2023. I sent an e-mail response accepting the offer but haven’t heard anything today, yet. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes! Last year I was granted an interview and my undergrad GPA is a 2.5. My preteq GPA is a 3.9. I volunteered for a year at a low-income hospital and worked on an ambulance rig during COVID-19.

No problem! Some applicants applications are so strong that WesternU is almost 100% they’ll accept them. So they invite them to EAO to essentially meet them to make sure they’ve made the right choice, as well as the applicant in accepting admission. Everyone either attends EAO or is invited for an interview. From there, they make decisions. So to answer your question, yes. You’re either invited to one or the other.

Thank you! So far it seems like they’ve only sent out EAO decisions. I know last year, I received my general interview invitation February 14th. So I think they do EAO, see how many decide to accept admission and then invite the regular interviewees. Last year they invited 192 to an interview. I believe 76 were accepted, about 20 were chosen for alternate status and they only picked 8 from that. I think, don’t quote me LOL

Hi all, Just now joining this thread. This is my second time applying to Western! I applied Fall of 2019 for Fall 2020 application and made it to an alternate status list (so I made it to an interview and was not rejected but placed on a “wait list”). I haven’t heard anything yet so am kind of bummed but am really hoping I get in this application cycle.

I called in about the ATI TEAS exam. If you have taken it since they updated the exam back in 2016, you HAVE to use that score. They said they sometimes don’t double check your application or overlook the TEAS transcript. They are going off of first attempt no matter what. I’m bummed because I only got an 80 on my first attempt ? Fingers crossed I still somehow make it in! You have to submit your transcript! They are only taking first attempt scores.

Yes! My TEAS score was from last October 25th!

I received an e-mail stating that I am invited to take the TEAS but I turned in my TEAS scores from last October?? Should I call them about this?? I mean, I’m glad it’s not a rejection but I’m a little confused because I already sent in my scores!

Are they planning on sending all acceptance letters at once? Or is there a date range?

It’s very detailed. A lot of Chemistry so I would recommend brushing up on that.

I would recommend COC, I’ve heard it’s a good program. Ik Harbor College has a crazy good rep, so that one as well. But I think those apps are closed until Spring now.

I applied to COC and this one. I'll know about both before other apps are due so I'm waiting to hear back from these two before spending money on applications LOL.

I got an invite for an interview. Anyone know how to prepare?! ?

I accidentally submitted my application with some transcripts still enroute. Are they super strict about that? All transcripts are in now. I’m just so used to applying and just waiting on transcripts to show up.

Actually heard not so good news ☹️ I e-mailed Alberto, he let me know that the class was now full. It will most likely be the cohort for the fall. Emergencies happen so a few people may still drop but ?
