  1. It’s kind of hard to say but from previous post they do get in.
  2. I believe I f someone decides not to show up or enroll in the semester you get their spot. So you’ll still go through the process like you’ve been fully accepted but the real determination comes from that zoom call. If anything you can always email Nichole
  3. No. I put mines in the day the application opened up thinking it would give me a better shot.
  4. hey guys I just saw Congratulations!! ❤️ Probably when the school officially opens so they can take more students
  5. Ashrae1551 is right. Every year is different
  6. Is it weird that I check all nurses before broward college?! I rather see someone else post they got in before looking ?
  7. Same!! I just got my AA last semester. I ran out of classes to take ?. I’m also scared as well to be honest. I hope it is one of those semesters everyone gets accepted.
  8. Oh god the real wait ???? awe man IDK if I’m ready for this. Are you ?
  9. Thats amazing! Fingers crossed ?? Everything’s fine with me I took a little break from thinking about nursing so now I’m back ?. Does the deadline end this Sunday?
  10. hey guys! How’s everyone doing?
  11. Hey sorry for the late response but per the FAQ page “The Generic program is five (5) semesters in length (2 years) consisting of 22 academic months. The LPN-RN Transition Program is five (5) semesters in length, consisting of 17 academic months. The part-time generic program is 10 semesters in length.
  12. Thank you. The first time I applied was the deadline so I wasn’t sure about the processing time.
  13. hey @Liz Alvarez did your application get processed yet?
  14. The entrance exams are a lot! I underestimated the HESI. So I’m not excited to make an attempt on any test right now plus I’m taking classes so I don’t want to stress myself out and focus on the wrong thing. I don’t want to do an Lpn program either!! I work as a pharmacy tech now and I mainly became one so I could familiarize myself with medications because I was told it’s a weak point in the medical field. I’m not really familiar with broward college but I’d say it’s 50/50. Let’s just cross our fingers and hope ????
  15. @Liz Alvarez Hey Liz so I’ve thought about it. I deff don’t want to do an lpn program and 2020 has knocked all the sense out of me so I’m really not up for anymore test this year. Since the amount of people are random each year and we’ve both already completed everything and have a chance why not apply again and have a friend to go through it with? Also since the application date is Nov 1 we can try to be the first to apply ??‍♀️
  16. This is for anyone applying for the upcoming semester thats planning to apply or just wants to talk.
  17. No but most applicants with 7pts and up were accepted and 1-6 were not.
  18. I can’t it’s already a re-take ?
  19. Guys it’s okay! I’ll try to find something else to do with my AA
  20. Even if it is waived. I don’t want to re-take 4 classes for 1 letter grade difference. That’s money and time I don’t have.
  21. I don’t think BC allows re-takes plus I’d just be taking all courses over to get an “A” instead of a “B” and it’s not really worth it. I’ll probably look into other schools since most applicants are picked by their points.
  22. I know but I’ve I talked to someone from the program about my options even with the extra course and HESI score.
  23. No, it’s too competitive I would need a BA or program completer to make me more competitive.
  24. Honestly, not that many points I had a C in English and B for everything else which gives you 4pts. I really applied hoping my transcripts would of overweighted my low score since I’ve completed most of my AA,all science courses, and 1 nursing course at PBSC.
