ABSN ASU 2022
So for downtown, most of us got the East garage parking pass bc it is the cheapest! However, all of our fall classes and clinicals have been at the new Mayo Health Futures Center. I'm not sure if this will be the same case for all ABSN classes moving forward, but they are still figuring out the parking situation there, so not sure if there will be a designated pass for that area, or if any ASU parking pass will transfer over (and which will be cheapest).

I agree! (And I liked/am interested in OB!). Summer is fast paced and they cram a lot of stuff in, and there was not much of a break for us in between Summer and Fall so it was challenging to feel like you were off to a good fresh start. I know a couple people who are in our cohort and were able to find housing together- it's awesome to live with someone who you can study with who knows exactly what craziness you are going through!

I can't speak to this year, but last year we had quite a few people get in off the waitlist. If it's anything like last year and if you were really hopeful to start the program this year, I would consider it! It may help to know what number you are on the waitlist as well if they are willing to tell you. Good luck to you in whatever you do!!

It is definitely fast-paced and challenging, but doable if you are able to dedicate the time. To my knowledge we have only had one or two people leave after our first semester, the remaining 70-ish of us are still here! Yes, there are definitely a few classes that are not too strenuous, and even some of the challenging courses have excellent professors who are there of you every step of the way. It's stressful and challenging, but the vast majority of us made it through! Because of COVID, Spring and Summer were "sync" meaning lectures were optional virtual or in-class, and the labs and clinicals were in-person. For the fall, everything is mandatory in-person including lectures. I hope that is helpful- let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi all! my name is Sam and I am from the 2021 cohort. I wanted to reach out to next year's group to see if I could be of any help in answering questions. I know members of the 2020 cohort were SO helpful to us last year, and want to make sure 2021 pays it forward to you all! Let me know if you have any questions for me. Good luck to you in your applications!!
