I wasn't sure either so I emailed the program coordinator. Here's what he said: They will be emailed to your personal email and possibly CSUSTAN email, so both emails. They will go out before or on October 1st, 2021. So I guess it could come any time this week. Ahhh this makes me nervous! Best of luck to us ?

CSU Stanislaus ASBSN 2022
Hello! I actually sent an email to the program coordinator. He replied to me within a couple days, confirming that the school has received everything they need. A week later, I received an automated email from Stan State’s ASBSN email confirming my application. For reference, I sumitted my application on the first week of July and received the automated email on July 23rd. Hope this helps.

Hello! I’m not applying to the regular BSN program but the application for that opens this August 1st ☺️

Has anyone gotten some type of confirmation from the department that they received your application? As soon as I submitted mine through Cal State Apply, I received an email saying my campus will email me in the next 5-7 business days to confirm that they received my application. It's been more than 7 days and I haven't received any emails from them since then. Just anxious LOL. I want to make sure I'm doing it right because I can't afford any more setbacks.

I just submitted my application as well! How's everyone feeling? The three month wait is going to be a torture for me for sure... ?

I believe that was the cut off point. She said she doesn't remember specifically but the lowest was between 85-87. Gives me some hope at least LOL.

I attended the last info session this week, and Dr. Stanley mentioned that their cut off point for the last cohort was in the 85-87 range. She also said that the application will be completely online, but the requirements and selection process remains the same. I am hoping they will update the website before June 1st so we can get a feel of how the application process will go.

Thank you Abigail! I'm at 92 points minimum (estimating my overall GPA, haven't had the time to sit down and actually tally everything) including the optional points. I am now debating if I should retake the TEAS one more time to see if it will help me. It just seems like all programs are getting more and more competitive as years go by.

Hi everyone! I was unable to attend the info session for this month. Just wondering if they mentioned any changes to the application and what their cut off point was for the recent cohort? Thanks!

CSU Stanislaus ASBSN 2022
I just looked at Stan State's website and it looks like they just updated the nursing page with the stats from Spring 2021 admission: Spring 2021 Admission Number of Applications: 207 (40 seats available) Average Overall GPA: 3.73 Average Science Pre-requite GPA: 3.79 Average Non-Science Pre-requite GPA: 3.67 Average ATI TEAS: 92% Spring 2020 Admission Number of Applications: 155 (40 seats available) Average Overall GPA: 3.51 Average Science Pre-requite GPA: 3.74 Average Non-Science Pre-requite GPA: 3.64 Average ATI TEAS: 84% I'm surprised with the jump of average TEAS scores, I might have to retake my TEAS to increase my chances of getting in.

I'm hoping it's enough to get into the program, given how super competitive it is here in CA. ? are you applying to other schools besides Stan State?

CSU Stanislaus ASBSN 2022
Hi everyone! I am applying for the Spring 2022 cohort as well. As far as point cutoffs, I don't think they report it, unfortunately. There was no discussion of it as well from the previous cohorts here. But yes, they do have their average GPA and TEAS scores available on their website. I am currently retaking Micro and if all goes well (crossing my fingers on this one), I'll have 92 points (including CSU graduate, health care experience, and bilingual points). Good luck everyone!

California State University, Northridge (CSUN) ABSN Fall 2021
Yes, it is new. Some of the Spring 2021 cohort applicants received a request for a video application around a month or so before the acceptance letters were sent out. Still not sure though if it will be an on going thing now...

I sent an email to [email protected]. They got back to me and clarified that I should be okay, and to just email them again when sending the transcript so that they could mark the class as a non-prerequisite.

Is anyone taking a class this Spring 2021 and is applying for the Fall 2021 cohort? I am curious, because I reached out to the College of Extended Learning regarding my transcripts and was told that no coursework, regardless if it is a prerequisite or not, should be in progress by the application deadline. I looked at their admission requirements again and it says that "all pre-requisite coursework must be reflected on transcripts by the application deadline, and no in-progress pre-requisite courses, or degrees, will be considered." It specifically mentioned prerequisite courses and degree should not be in progress when applying. However, the course that I am taking right now does not apply towards those two. I received my BS in Health Science and finished all my prerequisites in 2019. I am taking a class this semester just because I thought it's interesting. I sent another email but I'm curious if anyone is in the same situation.

From what I read, it looks like their admissions process is changing every cycle. For the last cycle, they invited some applicants to do a video application and they received the invitation around three months before the start date so I'm assuming it'll be the same.

I sent all my transcripts electronically and it took about a week before it showed up on my portal. You can always call just to make sure though.

Yeah, I believe they only require a bachelors/masters degree with a 3.0 overall GPA, C and above on prerequisite courses within 7 years, SOP and resume. I was shocked too that they don't require the TEAS.
