  1. @nurse2703 I had a MICU interview with Dallas and yes it was pretty tough. Their interview is based on behavioral questions. It can be hard to understand their questions because it is long and harder than other common behavioral questions. If you did not understand clarify what they asked. Please don't panic but be confident! Try to answer their questions even though it is hard to answer or ask them if you can come back to this question later. Prepare many stories. Questions I got was: what was the most complicated patient and what was the diagnosis? How did you handle unhappy patients? can't remember all bc it was just too hard for me... good luck! You will be okay ?
  2. Do they tend to give the results few days after an interview just like Baylor or do you have to wait long?
  3. @Bela25 Thank you for encouragement! I am so glad that you got a job offer in mother baby! ?
  4. @David8380 They asked one general questions and all of questions were behavioral questions. 'tell us about a time based off of a patient's lab values or other results, you were able to catch something before it happened or before diagnosis?' It was one of the question... I could not answer, so I had to skip it. Tbh I can't really remember what questions they asked because it was so complicated questions...!
  5. @Bela25 What unit did you get in? I had an interview with MICU at BUMC today and it was really hard... ? I was internally crying
  6. I had an interview on 2/13. They said I should hear back on last Friday but still haven't heard anything. I am guessing I am not selected...! It was Richardson tho.
  7. @CallMe Prestelle that's what I am thinking... I did not have any interview with the one that already moved to 'red.’ I had one interview and still did not hear anything but it is still green/active...!
  8. I have an interview on 2/28 but I didn't get any email about any info... was I not scheduled? ?
  9. I interviewed with Richardson last Monday! It was IMC. I haven't heard anything from other units like ICU.
  10. I interviewed with Richardson and the person who called and scheduled my interview was a unit manager.
  11. I applied ICU and ER and did not hear anything back.
  12. I applied Plano and Dallas. Still haven't heard anything ? I applied as soon as they are opened but there was a delay for submitting preference form because I did not get the form...
  13. @al323319 I emailed and they said only one interview at a time is allowed!
  14. @David8380 Yes thankfully! I got an MICU interview with BUMC Dallas. Tbh I thought I wasn't gonna get ICU interview bc I know it's very competitive but I got one ? My first interest was ICU!
  15. Dang... that's how they do it? I had no idea. My recruiter was rushing through with prescreening... it was done in 5 min. And asked me which one is my top selection... Do you think I can maybe schedule another prescreening interview...? Cuz I wanted Plano location too ?
  16. Even tho you applied for both regions they only let you have scheduled for one location ? I wanted to try for Plano and Dallas but only one was allowed
  17. @Erika28 My recruiter said there is only one spot on 22nd but I am scheduled on 28th because I have classes on 2/22. It sounded like they have some spots opening for MICU on 2/28 because he was asking me what time I prefer on 28th. I was not able to ask any questions because he was rushing with the interview...! I wish I could ask some questions LOL I even jot down list of questions to ask.
  18. I just had a prescreening interview at 3 PM today and I got an interview scheduled for MICU at Baylor Dallas. The recruiter told they can do an interview on 2/22 but I said I have classes on that day, so I am scheduled on 28th. Is it better if I scheduled it earlier day...? And prescreening interview wasn't bad at all! The recruiter just asked me why I want to be a ICU nurse and that was it. It was done in like 5 minutes...
  19. I applied Dallas and Frisco and Plano. I got a two invitation for prescreening interview. I am nervous...
  20. I applied on 1/26 and didn't get a reference form just like you. I emailed to the email that I supposed to send a preference form and they send me one. Finally I was able to send it yesterday...
  21. Hi, I applied yesterday for Dallas and got an email from virtual talent assistant about scheduling microsoft teams interview... I have to pick date and time but I don't know what's the purpose of this! Does anyone know?
  22. @nirvana2018 Hi, I am a junior nursing student at MSU. For Spring 2021, they did not take HESI due to covid. My GPA was 3.7. But getting over 90 on average for HESI should be enough to get into MSU.
  23. Does anyone commute from Dallas area? I am planning to commute for this semester because lectures are online and I only need to go school once or twice a week.
  24. @CS1208 Drug test is due before semester starts and for the blue card, they will give you extra time to upload it if you are still waiting for it.
