  1. It was ridiculously easy...which left a bad taste in my mouth. They literally only want your resume/cover letter and transcripts. I'm pretty sure they'll let anyone in, which makes me question the program itself. I got in and am not really sure if I'll be going. I have been told they guarantee placement. However, I don't think that's possible for me d/t living in Hawaii. But the recruiter I've had majority of my conversations with has repeatedly told me they "guarantee" placement. I think at this point, it's best to go to a school that already has connections for clinicals and requires you to be within their location to do it. It sucks, but I think it'll lead to better outcomes when it comes to job hunting in the future.
  2. Was wondering if anyone is currently in this program. Looking to become a PMHNP, possibly starting 2021. This is a fairly new program and wanted any thoughts from current students on how it has been so far. Thanks!
  3. okay, thanks. Hope you find a study group!
  4. pinknursepower, did they tell you that they guarantee clinical placement and already have contracts? or say that they'll collaborate with you to find placement? I'm trying to make sure, because the way they word it online, still seems as though, to me at least, placement isn't actually 100%.
  5. Hi! I am currently looking at attending the Spring 2021 BSN-MSN PMHNP. Still looking at other schools, but this is my top choice for now. Currently reside in Hawaii and just spoke with a coordinator and she mentioned that they do provide clinical placement. Although, I would most likely have to travel. Has anyone looked at other online programs? It seems as though there's a lot in PA in general.
