Hi I graduated in 2021 from the program. I can answer any questions you might have to the best of my ability.

In state for ASU was around 11k in Spring, 13k in Summer and 11k in fall for tuition. I think out of state came close to 43k.

I am from Arizona and was fortunate to have a family member let me use a spare bedroom. I paid for the program out of pocket and wanted as little costs outside of the program as I could. 2nd half of Summer killed me personally as none of the subjects were in my area of interests. The emphasis was on OBGYN mainly at that part and I personally loathed that class.Fall was rough as well but it shorter as you are still essentially burned out from the Summer. Everyone handled things differently but that is just my perspective.

Hello everyone! I am currently in the 2021 cohort and will be finishing up in a matter of weeks. If you have any questions about the program, please don’t be afraid to ask. Like Slsylvester said the program is hectic to say the least but doable. People did get into the program off the waitlist so I wouldn’t worry too much if you find yourself there right now. A lot can happen between now and when the program starts. Just be prepared because this program will dominate your life for a year.

Seriously feels like a weight has been taken off my back knowing I will be in this program starting next year! I was waitlisted for PA school two years in a row and seriously feel like I wasted those two years just waiting around. I am so happy to start class with all of you next year!

Did y'all apply yet? I sent in my application and was able to petition a class for a grade replacement bringing my advancement score to a 1.82.

Well I utilized the secret of the TEAS book by Mometrix, while additionally using the pocket Prep and TEAS mastery programs on my phone. I also bought the two tests from ATI to get familiar with the format. I also watched the Youtube channel by Carolyn McAllister which I have linked below. The test was odd being honest because some questions were insanely easy, and I maybe spent too much time overthinking them but on the science it asked some pretty in-depth questions. So, my best piece of advice is to just get familiarized with the questions and the format. What works for someone else may not work for you. My advice would also to be is get those tests and take one at the beginning, so you have an idea of what to work on and then work from there. I am a former pre-PA student and after being waitlisted two years in a row and having the chaos of corona hit, I decided to go the nursing route. I turned 36 years old this year and felt it was time to do something else. I spent 4 years working in an organ and tissue bank, with a year of EMT experience. I have a master’s in biology which I have been able to use for some of my prereqs. I am petitioning for one of my classes to be used in place of BIO202 which should help with my advancement score which currently sits at a 1.789 but will become a 1.827 if it is successful. I studied for 6 weeks for the TEAS and got an 83% on it. I spent too much time studying for the science and kind of dubbed the English portion. Waiting for the application to open up this week because I am ready to do something productive again.
