Hi! When I took my boards last month I had a mixture of questions, OB Mental, Peds and Med/Surg and Pharm. I also had select all that apply and priority questions. I think it's the luck of the drawl and the fact that the computer knows your weakness. I agree with everyone that the select all that apply are very tricky

Hi! I agree with KAT. I just took my boards in July and it shut off at 85. I felt horrible! But I passed! I think you did fine! I have been told many times that 85 is a good thing!!!!! Good Luck:lol2::balloons:

Hi, I to took my NCLEX-PN boards on Wed 7/25 and I keep checking the quick results site but says results not available yet. I am in knots just like you. This is horrible! I took exam at 8am when are they supposed to be ready!!!

Hi Pepper, Welcome to the board! Did you go to TICC? I've been in the program since last April and it is tough. We started out with 50 people and now will probably be graduating with 25! We grad. in June! Can't wait. Family support is key. I have a 2 and 4 yr old, and I've basically given up my life for this, but, it's only for one year and only 5 months left now! Hello! God Bless you with all those kids! I am enrolled in a full time LPN program w/ 2 kids ages 4 and 2 and my husband works about 65hrs a week. It can be done. Just always remind yourself of the rewards in the end. Try to ask family and friends to help as much as they can so you can get through school. Where in PA are you? I'm in South Jersey. Good Luck!

Hey Stephanie, I just got your message from April 16. I am so stressed out!! Why are these tests so hard and complicated? I'm trying really hard to hold onto my 81.7 average. I feel like there is not enough time at night to do all the studying. Mrs. Mullin covered 2 chapters in 1.5 classes today and it's like 45 pages!!! I am studying a lot, but I feel so average on the tests. I am trying to change the way I study. I am glad that you did so well on your test. Yes the nutrition is really hard! I got a 77 on the first test. Maybe we can meet up for lunch one day!! See you at school . Laura

Hey Stephanie, I was without a computer over the weekend my brother was working on it. I just got your message. I sit in the second row very end seat (right at the door where you all peek at us! HA HA!) I don't remember who was who when you all came in to talk to us. Where do you hang out during break? Or I'll just ask tomorrow who who are. I was afraid to ask for Cami. I wasn't sure being a screen name. Anyway the test is actually tomorrow. It was moved from Monday. I am so nervous. The instructors seem good. Any tips will be great! What do you think is the hardest subject? Any tips on the instructors for their classes? By the way Cambria is a beautiful name and different. My husband's family looked at me funny when I told them all we were naming our daughter Scarlett. Now they can't picture her as any one else! I love pretty names that you don't hear to often. Hey Cami, First day was pretty good. Was nervous this morning, but that's normal. Your class must be thanking God your not in our shoes this morning, right? I guess it makes you feel good knowing how far you have come!! Oh, I have the tabers. Thanks for the offer, I meant to tell you that a few weeks ago that I got it. They do seem pretty strict, but I supposed they have to be. I think I will do fine, and the class we have seems to be pretty serious about the program. Looking forward to a good year! Thanks so much for all your help! Yes, we do start April 5. I am trying to get a lot of things done. I have a 3.5 year old and a 20 month old. I'm just anxious to get a routine down once school starts. The first day we have to be there at 9am. I assume it's paperwork and basics? You must be glad you're almost done!! Hey cami! It's crunch time here for me! I am running around like crazy getting ready for school. Just have a few more questions to ask you. They said bring all your books the first day of school. The books are quite heavy all combined what type of book bag or luggage do you haul these around in? Also, do they assign lockers? I'm still unsure about the scrubs. I called the school and they said plain white scrubs. I bought one pair at best uniform the top is LANDAU it has two pockets in the front v-neck. Do shirts need to be tucked in? Anyway, I know your probably busy and i'm sorry about all the questions. Thanks for your time!!! Laura

hey cami, Thanks for all the good tips! I also wanted to ask about the uniforms for core. During orientation, they said wear white scrubs everyday for class and clinical. Do you have any reccomendations of the best place to shop for them and brands? Can we wear any kind of all white scrubs? I also ordered all of my books for core. Still trying to find the Tabers cyclopedic med. Dict. They didn't have the one we need on amazon.com. Thanks for all your help! Laura.

Cami82, Thanks so much for replying! If you could give me any insight or advice about the program in general that would be great! I know from orientation that it is very demanding. I'm a stay at home mom of two. I will be doing most of my studies at night and am curious as to how long you study on an average each night? Are your weekends completely occupied with school work? Anything you can tell me will be great. Luckily, I have family to help me out. Just like to be prepared as much as I can. Good luck to you! You must be so excited to be graduating in a few months.
