I received a rejection letter on Saturday

I still have not heard anything ? when I call the school of nursing, they have been forwarding me to someone else’s line, which then goes straight to voicemail.

I just called the school of nursing, and they directed me to someone else, and then I received a voice machine. ?

For those of you who received call backs, did your caller ID say if the number was from Louisiana?

That’s what I keep telling my friends and family. Obviously hope for the best, but ya gotta be realistic. I would imagine they’d send an email to those that don’t get in, as opposed to a phone call, right?

I just had my interview and I have no idea if my interview went well or not but OMG.. IDK how you have been waiting for so long to find out. Knot in my stomach. @Thesums18

Aw man! LOL we will be waiting for awhile after all. For those of you who have already interviewed, did you feel rushed? Someone the other week said that they did, I hope that isn't common.

There aren't that many people in this thread, but of the few, I feel like everyone received an interview just about. Oh well, thankfully they have more spots in their program than most! Were your clinical questions in depth, like asking what receptors does that medication work on for example?

I wonder how many people applied this time around and how many will be interviewing. I figure they must be interviewing a lot of people, it sure seems like it

Still waiting for mine. I interview 10/7. Studying Ochem while trying to prep for this interview.. fun!

Probably accepting 50! Their class size is around that.

Thanks for sharing! Did they mention when you should find out if you have been accepted? I read on some previous blogs that some people found out that they were accepted while interviews were still being conducted.

In June of 2021 I plan on applying to CRNA school. Currently I have been in a level IV NICU for three years at the same hospital, but I have the opportunity to accept a position in a level IV NICU at a hospital ranked #2 nationwide in neonatology. I would LOVE to accept this position because I would learn so much, but since I do plan on applying to school soon, would it hinder my chances of being accepted to CRNA school in 2021? Would it be seen as a pro (do they even care) that I'm at a prestigious hospital or would it be a con that I changed jobs which also means starting over to reestablish myself so getting letters of recommendation might also be more difficult. Thoughts?

Following! Does anyone know how they calculate the cumulative GPA? Do they replace a lower grade with the higher grade if the class was retaken? Stats: GRE: 301, 4.5 writing CCRN NICU 4 for 3 years
