Thank you all for the sweet words. I am very sad about this and will probably and may have to leave nursing to make better money to pay these student loans off. Not many of the hospitals pay well in my area. So its either go travel nurse or leave the field all together. Congrats again to everyone who got funded. Go paint the town pink! :)

Well since no more emails are being sent guess I wasn't funded. Congrats to everyone who received funding, you all are truly blessed.

NELRP Help, thank you for your response. Can I ask if you automatically disqualify people if they have anything bad on their credit report? Not federal debt, but say medical bills or credit cards?

I still haven't received a email and I'm getting downright angry!!! Does anyone know from last years thread if people who never received an email got awarded still? I haven't read that thread in months and my anxiety level is over the top.

Do not give up. I was where you were several years ago. I was all set to change majors to finance when 2 acceptance letters came for nursing school. It just may not be the right time and God has something in store for you. If nursing is where your heart is DO NOT GIVE UP!!! Best of luck.

So is there really a red team?? I forgot who said it but I was just wondering since no emails have been recieved by that team.

There is a poster earlier in the thread who stated he received an email last year and did not get an award.

Thanks Amy, the fraud alert has been on my credit report months before HRSA ran my credit. I initially called HRSA about the issue and the rep could not help me. I actually have a lawyer working on the issue because the company refuses to remove the item from my credit and they know its not my debt!!! I have already started applying for travel nursing positions so I can start making better money to push towards my student loans. I know I need to stay positive, but its so hard when people with ratios less than mine have received emails.

I've just about given up on hearing anything. I am so sad because I was counting on this. I am really afraid I was denied because of a fraudulent item on my credit report.

According to HRSA emails are sent in the order the information was received. Now take that with a grain of salt since HRSA told someone no emails were being sent this year.

I have such a bad feeling about my chances. I've already started making plans to leave my hospital so I can go to another facility that pays better.

Those who got emails, when did you send your paperwork to HRSA??

What the heck?! This is just cruel and inhumane punishment, lol not really but its really making me nervous. I've just tried to keep telling myself if I don't get it God must have another plan ahead for me. Like perhaps I will get a better job offer at another hospital. Just trying to stay optimistic.

Depending on our census 13 to 18 nurses per shift. Always have help whenever you need someone.

I must have my brain!!! It's a sheet that list all my meds an times to give along with swan numbers, iv med gtts. I must have each cart in my room stocked!! I cant stand for my patient to code or go south and I have no flushes in my room. I must have extra linen in my rooms.

That's not the name I recall who ran my credit. It had health something in the name. Let me find my report and tell you.

Yes Rain they have changed that. We sent in no banking info with the original paperwork.

Amy and Rain thanks for posting that valuable info. Ahhhhhhhhh now im afraid to go on vacation out of fear the letter might come and I miss some important send back this by this date. Rain in your award letter did they ask you to mail back documents by a certain date?

Nothing today.... Again When I do get the good letter I will be coming here first to update!
