  1. Hi there! I am looking at Ursuline for a Spring 2021 start and was just wondering if you have an update on how classes are going (or if you’ve just finished, congratulations, and how they went!). How did you like your professors overall? Do you feel prepared to be a nurse? General experience feedback?
  2. Would anybody on this thread who completed or is in progress with the SDAP program be willing to share your experience at Ursuline and how the program is/was for you? I am completing pre-reqs now and hoping for a Spring 2021 start! Feel free to PM me if you’d prefer.
  3. Cross-posted from Students-Schools, but want to see if I get a response from more previous students in this forum as well ? I am curious to hear from any current or former students who attended Ursuline’s SDAP (accelerated BSN) program. They are currently my top choice but I have a hard time finding many reviews! Thank you!
  4. Thanks so much! Looks like Edinboro won’t work out for me this fall, but I really appreciate all the info ? Good luck!!
  5. @jll9063b, thank you so much for the information! That was definitely helpful, especially the links in the latest post. I am in a similar boat and not concerned about the town/"fun" aspect, and cheap rent and lack of traffic are huge pros! If either of your contacts would be willing to exchange a couple emails/FB messages, I would definitely appreciate it. Everything about the program seems great; my only other concern about being in a small town is that maybe the clinical experiences at a hospital in a larger city would be more comprehensive, or competitive, or something?? That is probably misguided though...
  6. Hi all, I am looking at ABSN programs, most of which start in January but one school might have an opening in their August cohort. I would love to start sooner than later, but with some schools already starting to move their fall terms online due to Covid I am a bit concerned about the potential for classes to be online with virtual clinicals if I start in August. Of course, January could have the same issue, but then at least I would only have 1 semester (hopefully) online (vs. 2 if I start in August). My concern is that with how short ABSN programs are, missing 1-2 semesters of in-person clinicals would put me way at a disadvantage when I enter the workforce. My gut is kind of telling me to wait and start in January, but at the same time, if I'm coming out with the same degree either way (even if it's with less clinical experience), doesn't it make as much sense to finish earlier if I'm able to? Can somebody gut-check me here? Would you try to start ASAP, or wait to ensure you've maximized in-person instruction/clinicals?
  7. Hi! I am looking at Edinboro's Innovative program for (possibly) this fall or next. I have seen some mixed reviews on various sites, but most of the negative ones are fairly old so I'm hoping no longer applicable! This might be totally weird, but I was wondering if you knew of a way I could contact a current student or two? Edit: I also live in Seattle!
