  1. My GPA is a 3.7, I graduate in May from FSU. I'm not completely sure of my pre-req GPA but it wasn't GREAT because I got 2 C's in them. The only patient experience I had was volunteering on a hospital surgical floor for a year. It only took about a month to hear back. I just heard back yesterday and applied sometime in late October. I never got the email to make a Canelink so I called about 8 days after I submitted my app and I was able to set it up. I really think they must have paid attention to LOR and personal statement! Now have to decide between Miami and Thomas Jefferson.
  2. Thank you! I wish you the best of luck. I remember reading everyone's advice on here prior to my interview and it really helped a lot. You will receive an email 24 hours before your interview with a couple of interview questions to go over. These are the exact questions they asked me, in addition to one other situational/behavioral question. They were 4 other people in my zoom group and we each got asked the same 3-4 questions. After those, we each got a different question. The interviewer went around and gave us that one different question first, so we had time to think of an answer. Here are some of the questions I got: Why have you chosen nursing over all other health care professions? What three attributes or characteristics do you believe are vital to making a nurse successful? What is one accomplishment you are most proud of? Why would you make an excellent nurse? It really was so casual, you could tell they want you in the program! I heard back 2 days later. Read other people's tips and advice on this page! Good luck.
  3. Hi everyone! Just heard back today that I was accepted to the FACT 1-Year BSN Program in Center City. I interviewed on Wednesday, 10/28, and heard back on 10/30. Let me know if anyone has any questions!
  4. Do you remember some of the interview questions they asked you?
  5. Congrats!! Amazing!! Can you share some of the questions they asked?
  6. How was your interview? I have mine next Wednesday. Would love to know the questions and any tips!
  7. Wow! Thank you so much this is incredibly helpful. What year did you go through the interview process? Do you remember any questions that were atypical such as the elevator question? Thanks again, I'm freaking out!
  8. Hi everyone! I just checked my application portal and it says for me to schedule an interview! I would love as much advice as possible and any questions that were previously asked! Also, does anyone know if the majority of applicants receive an interview or if they also tell people no before they offer interviews?
  9. Hi!! I applied just yesterday and am waiting for some transcripts to be received and recommendations to be sent. What was the turn around time for anyone who applied? Did everything have to be received before hearing back?
  10. Would you mind sharing your GPA? How was the application process? I am looking to apply for the fall of 2021.
  11. Do you mind sharing your GPA and pre-req grades?
  12. Do you mind sharing your stats? Thank you so much!!
  13. For those who got accepted for the Spring, Fall or Summer term, can you please share your overall GPA and pre-req GPA? Did anyone have a C in any of the pre-reqs? Please share anything you found helpful in order to get accepted. Thank you!
  14. Do you mind sharing your cumulative GPA and pre-req GPA?
  15. Hi all!! I am in my junior year at Florida State and will be graduating as a child development major. I plan on attending an accelerated nursing program anywhere in the northeast! I would love some insight from people who will also be applying in the coming months and from prior applicants. As of right now I have a 3.6 cumulative GPA, but not the greatest science GPA (chem and anatomy 1&2). I am taking Microbio in the fall and plan on getting A’s Chem: C Anatomy 1: C (in both lecture and lab) Anatomy 2: A (in both lecture and lab) Based off this, would I have retake anatomy 1 lecture and lab or count on my cumulative GPA to balance it out?
