Hey Amy! I don't think there is 2021 group. I have just started USM ABSN 2021 facebook page as I do not see one existing yet. I was accepted too, have many questions myself, but overall I believe this is a great program.

mheim, did you end up going? what are your thoughts on the program?

Carocam, thank you so much for the tips! Did you have to move do a different state with your child for school, or stayed in the one where you knew people?

Thabk you, Ashley! Oh, so you can take some classes before the accelerated program and they can transfer over into the program? I thought that program is like 1 unit of 15 months and nothing can be transferred into it!

Oh, thank you so much for the info! I am trying to see what’s important to them: more optional classes taken or grades for the courses required? What convinces them in the essay to pick you over another. I won’t have all of the optional courses, just 1 optional, and Microbiology will be in process in the Fall, but I will still apply. I ve been looking for great ABSN programs with reasonable cost/quality outside of Maine as well. Thank you for suggesting a couple, I will check them out!

Carocam, would you share how you did it? I am not even close to crna school, working to get into nursing program, but when I think of being a single mom with no help I think how to do it? (My daughter is 6yrs now)
