  1. CV Recovery/ICU. You will learn so much.
  2. I talk to several people and they said biochem is not as hard as the other chemistries.
  3. Just chill out and have fun while you can. I know I will.
  4. I know people who take the CCRN close to the time of their interview in preperation. The Laura Gasparis Vonfolio videos are really good in preparing for the CCRN and brushing up on things. I also have a good book called the Manual of Perioperative Care in Adult Cardiac Surgery written by Robert M. Bojar that is excellent. It covers drugs in great detail and hemodynamics. I work in a 52 bed CV Recovery/ICU and I think that might have also played a significant part of my acceptance. Good luck to everyone. Please PM me if you would like more information.
  5. Congrats malenurse on your acceptance!
  6. I took care of a former astronaunt. He had surgery and I was getting him out of bed for the first time. I asked him if this was harder than walking on the moon. I had also asked him if he believed in aliens.
  7. oh, interview date was 01/17
  8. I got the official acceptance letter today. I found out by phone that I was accepted...I pretty much called and asked if the letters were mailed out and they told me I was accepted. I have an interview next week at the Gooding institute in Florida. I am waiting on an invite from OLOL in LA. My stats include: gpa 3.5, four years experience in CVICU, I have my CCRN-CSC certifications, PALS, ACLS. Interview was really cool. No hard questions. Good luck to everyone!
  9. I found out today that I was accepted:monkeydance: !!! Finally! Well, I have two more interviews and then I will make my final decision. For now I am just happy.
  10. Wooooooooo hoooooooooo MWU - accepted Two more interviews to go, then decisions to be made.
  11. I haven't anything either. Just waiting patiently.
  12. I have an interview scheduled in Feb. All I know is that it is 30 minutes long. I am just preparing for the worse.
  13. The kind of questions that are asked are: Why do you want to be a CRNA? What does a CRNA do? How do you study? Describe a typical day at your work. There were no clinical questions.
  14. I was just wondering if there are any wrong answers to this type of interview. What exactly are they looking for? I kind of think that the school wants to leave a good impression for the applicant. Honestly, does anyone know what I am talking about? I just wonder if the interview is significantly judeged vs everything else.
  15. Underdog, why what happened with your friend?
