Hi Carolina. I’m currently in the trimester cohort (first semester). We graduate May of 2022. So it’s Aug 2020-May 2022 for the Trimester and Aug 2020-Dec 2022 for the semester.

What I did was take a CLEP exam for the foreign language and then send the scores to the SON. I registered through the CLEP website. Good luck on the application process :)

Honestly I am kinda in the same position! I am already chatting with a potential landlord to move in Aug 1st, and I don't want to make anything official until I know for sure there will be in-person classes. Im coming from Ventura county so I deffo understand your concerns. I might send Nancy an email and ask her directly.

Awesome CONGRATS! I’m sure that’s quite a relief off your shoulders What I know for orientation is only from the emails I have received. One from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) that was sent at the beginning of this month stating there will be a New Student Orientation in mid June. And another email that was sent this past Wednesday from “CHHS-Advising” explaining that we need to do our Pre-SOAR workshop one week prior to the actual SOAR event. And that we will be registering for classes. That’s everything I have received so far. I’m sure we will receive more info at the beginning of June

Totally not a dumb question. I didn't get an "enrollment-appt" email, but in my Student Center portal it states that I can start enrolling on June 1st; but I'm not gonna do anything until I get further directions from SON. At the communication exercise they told us that everything is done for us as far as registering for classes so so I'm not sure. I would call/email the nursing dep directly ?

Hello future nurses! Emails are out regarding admission! I received my acceptance letter this morning 8:30!! I will be declining my offer since I’ve received acceptance to another SON. So hopefully someone on the waiting list has an opportunity to get admitted now ? Goodluck and congratulations for all who made it!

So thrilled we finally got an official letter from SON. CONGRATS again to everyone for making it this far. ❤️

It totally flew by for me as well. I definitely did not expect it to be a group interview LOL; but that made things a little less intense for me. The interviewers were nice and made the whole process enjoyable. I hope everyone did well ? Now we play the wait game til next week!

I think a lot of us are wondering what’s gonna happen. I haven’t heard anything for Fall. I do know that Summer is going to be online and they’re gonna conduct SOAR online as well based what it says on their website but as for Fall Semester I guess we will find out soon, hopefully.

I’m thinking of finding a place off campus since I’ve heard it’s cheaper. However I have no idea where to look LOL. Anybody have any tips what areas are best?

Thanks for the reply. I just accepted and paid the deposit; as well as signed up for my SOAR date. Like you said, I'm sure they are super behind on processing paperwork. So far they have only processed 1 of 4 documents I sent on my "to do list" and its making me a bit worried since April 15 is just around the corner LOL.

Ahh that’s probably why you haven’t heard anything back then. It looks like last year notices of admission for second degree seekers were sent around 2nd week-ish of April. So hang in there ?

By chance are you a second degree seeker? Because based off last year’s thread those who are going for a second degree get Admission notices much later on than the rest of us.

Has anyone been able to activate their account? I keep getting an error message each time I try to activate it.

Hi CONGRATS on getting in ? Based on last year's thread. It looks like there was a $150 deposit due by May 1st. Not sure if this year will be the same, but hopefully that gives you a ball park.
