I applied the last two semesters & didn’t get in & got in for this semester. Do not give up! You need to e-mail ESC your transcripts so they can do a review & determine if you are exempt from taking it again.

So I heard that the first semester they make you take the history course (no clinicals) but I already took that course so I literally have nothing left to take except nursing classes. I guess we will find out during our zoom call

I think we take an Empire history class first and then clinicals would start in the Fall but I already took that class in my undergrad & they said it would transfer over. So I’d hope I can go straight into clinicals. I guess we will find out when we have our zoom advisement call.

Exactly! & they said it was sent to our personal emails? We got the e-mail @ our NCC e-mail. Don’t give up hope! & if you do not get in this semester — keep pushing towards your dreams! I applied the past two semesters & didn’t get in because I didn’t have enough pre reqs. The applicant pool changes every semester. Do not give up!!

Just for reference- I got in & based on the scoring I had 167 points Yep but clinicals take up a lot of time. They are 4x a week with lecture, lab & hospital

Also for those of you waiting — it states we must reserve our seat by December 4th. So if you have people who deny their seat / don’t respond... that will open up more spots!

I hope to make you all feel better — I’ve read multiple forums from past semesters stating that there has always been a lack of communication between admissions & the nursing department. I believe that the admission department didn’t sent out approvals yet. Also— I’ve applied in the past and I got my denial letter last semester the same time everyone else got their approvals. So I don’t think they are done yet! Stay hopeful!

Yes so all those who applied through admissions will probably hear after!! So stay positive... you got this. Also, maybe the nursing department isn’t fully done sending out to everyone. Don’t forget — you’ll have people who deny their seat too so you still have so many options of getting in!

Did you guys apply through admissions or nursing department directly? I know in the past acceptance letters through the nursing department went out first so don’t lose hope!! I am crossing my fingers for you all! I know the feeling.
