I actually asked about this when I called, and the woman I spoke to told me they actually don't know yet ? she was like "your guess is as good as mine, we haven't been given any guidance yet."

Okay so....I have no idea what to do with myself and maybe one of you lovely people might have a better idea than me. This is my second year applying for the award, and I had heard crickets until this point and assumed I was in for another "no." Then I got an email tonight saying I was a finalist and that I have until 9/6 to sign either way. The only problem is this: I have an interview for my dream job at another facility on 9/8 that I have a decent shot at getting. I am not 100% sure if the other facility would qualify. Does anyone know 1) how "final" being a finalist is (like if I sign it am I basically guaranteed or could I still not get it) 2) when we know for sure and 3) how they would handle it if I changed jobs this early in the process, assuming the new place qualifies?

The educator just said what we knew, unfortunately - that offers hadn't been sent out yet. ? I think she didn't want to give away any more info than that The educator, not the girl who asked

I've also seen that UC Health is very competitive; I also applied there as well. We'll have to see how it all shakes out!

I think it depends entirely on the unit. Some are slower/faster than others, plus some choose to do verbal offers before the official HR one while others just let HR do it. I definitely don't think it would be alphabetical order though.

Hi guys! Having a thread here has been super helpful for other jobs I've applied to so I thought I'd start one for Centura! I applied for the NICU track first choice with Perinatal second, with Littleton my top hospital and Parker my second. They sent me an automated request for a pre-recorded interview when I was done with the application. I'd love to hear where you guys are applying ?

Of course, I know we're all freaking out at the moment so anything to help ?

ALSO if you got an ICN interview like me you are still in the running for NICU, some people ended up getting offers from two different units last time, they offer to who they want and don't care if you've interviewed on another floor

Okay so NICU update: talked to the person I know who's there now. She says a few of the NICU managers are on vacation this week (!!) which could be why no one has heard. She said last time it took a full two weeks for everyone to hear. She also has not heard of ANYONE being offered the positions yet and offered to ask her clinical educator for us to see if anyone got an offer when she works tomorrow.

I just want to hear one way or another about NICU, I'm out of the running for ICN which is fine but since they never told us if that meant we weren't in the running for NICU I'm stresssssiiinnggg over here. I hope we all hear really soon! I promise I'll tell you guys the second I hear anything.

Something I'm confused on...for people who got second interviews with the ICN and initially interviewed for both that and NICU...are we out of the running for NICU entirely?
