  1. Hi everyone, I was hoping some of you could shed some light on what has caused you or is causing you to feel burned out in this position. Or if you have a position where you're not experiencing burn out often, what about the position makes it better than the others? Is it all down to management? I'm a remote care manager working for an insurance company, looking to move to U.R./U.M., but slightly anxious after reading some other experiences. Also can you share any pointers of what I should look out for when considering a position, or possibly any insurance companies that you have had a good experience working for? Thanks all!
  2. Hi babynurse1996 and nursep2015! Nursep2015 I hope you were successful in landing a position. Could either of you please shed light on burnout in the UM position? Or is this mostly seen with Case Management position? Do you have trouble with burnout and could you share how many cases you are expected to complete in a certain time frame? I'm looking to change from my care management position to U.R./U.M. but I see so many people having issues with too high caseload or major stress related to case mgmt and I'm wondering if it will be the same for U.R./U.M.
  3. Hi Blucat, were you ever able to find a good company? I'm looking to transition from my care mgmt position to U.R./U.M. What you described does not sound pleasant at all and gives me anxiety.
  4. Hi timewood! What did you decide to go with to break into research nursing? And can you share any videos or websites you found helpful? thanks!
  5. Hi microkate, Would you mind disclosing the pay of CRCs/research nurses in your area? I'm just trying to get a better picture of salary for this field. thanks
