I had a's in a and p and psy230. 1 co req A My TEAS was really good and I was banking on that. I completed a and p 2 amd another co req over the Spring semester and got A in both classes, I know those don't count. I live in montclair/ dumfries in prince william county.

Wish they would have noted that there was a waitlist in denial letter. Moving to Florida for multiple reasons including nursing school Really bummed

What you just said exactly ally! I may take a six week micro and try to get a b. From what I have gathered having all 4 co reqs gave you a leg up over higher grades but less co reqs. Yes! Study buddy!

I paid for the study package through TEAS website which was around 200 I think, then exam twice: 120. I upgraded the pocket prep which was like 30 or so. I did whatever I could to be competitive. I got 87.5 over all 95 in reading, 84 math, 83 science and 87.5 in English. I'm thinking about taking a six week micro this Summer. I mean if the grade doesn't matter amd just having the course done is all that is assessed then screw it, why not!

I'm in exactly the same boat as you. It is really disappointing and wrong if a c in a co req still got someone in. Whats the point then of it being competitive.

I wish I could get some real advice and info from the mec counselors, they really aren't all that helpful. I don't want to spend 1000 in the fall and take bio 150, get an a and still not get in. I really don't know what to do with the situation. I will be pretty upset if I don't get in next round even with ALL a's in all classes.

Yea, not cool. I feel the same way. I CANNOT believe they are not using the TEAS again. They should refund us for the hundreds of dollars spent studying for that test in order to be "competitive". I have spent thousands a nvcc to get my pre and co reqs up to speed, really sad and discouraging for them as an institution.

Waiving the TEAS wasn't fair. I'm sorry, if you didn't take it by a WEEK before application deadline , then it is applicants fault not all the other people who had already submitted TEAS scores.

So if I completed all my co reqs even with c's I would have gotten in?? That is crazy.

I found the 60 to 80 people really funny...how do you not know how many spaces were filled!?!?!

CONGRATS! I got rejected. Only had one co req done. All a's . I'm pretty disappointed as I studied and spent a long time and alot of money to get an advanced score on my TEAS. Feel really deflated.

I'm registered for micro for 10 week Summer session. If I don't get into the program I will most likely take it in the fall so it is a longer (16w) session and hopefully will be in classroom. Then apply again in Spring 2021!

This whole thing is nuts!! I know for me I spent ALOT of money and ALOT of time killing myself to do well on the TEAS. I can't believe that is has been waived. I know me and countless others are quite frustrated about it. I hope that there is a FAIR solution. Because there isn't much competition in two class grades!

Meccounselor, yes I have an A in bio 141! I took it at another school and it transfered,i will get an a in 142 as well. Finishing psy 230 now and applying in january!

I saw she she has good reviews, the only option for her is a hybrid class, yay or nay?

So I took my TEAS on sept. 11 and I am unable to apply until january. Are you saying my scores wont be valid? I will be furious as no advisor told me this Really appreciate your help
