I got into the Gainesville campus!

Very good way of putting things! You have put it into perspective a little bit more for me and I too have been trying to be a bit more patient with the wait ? It’s hard waiting on our end no doubt, but you’re right I’d rather them take their time and get everything perfect rather than rushing under pressure or deadlines. Do we think the office will be open that following Monday or the next week? I go to UF but I am not sure if the entire campus closes for Spring break when the students leave so it might be silent for a week if they too close their office after Friday if that’s when decisions are released.

I was actually thinking about this... I read on last year’s forum that the campuses people were assigned got messed up and everyone was sent “Jacksonville” responses, so they had to correct it by sending out new emails the following Monday. So it is possible for them to do Monday emails I guess, but that was for a correction so not sure if they’d do that for outright decisions? Someone on here called and she said we’d hear “within the next week”, so maybe it will be a different day besides Friday? Because if it was Friday wouldn’t she have said like “you’ll find out next Friday”? I don’t know I’m grasping at straws here lol

Wait Kianna told you to check the application page? Which one - the one that we submitted our Post Bac app to and when did she tell you to check? Usually decisions are sent out via email so that’s interesting

Yeah that’s what I thought! I check almost everyday too and I’ve had all green check marks since around the same time as you and mine is still just “Under Review”. Hopefully we’ll see a change soon since the minimum amount of weeks for their decision period is coming up soon!

I chose the same! ? and it’s just making me super nervous and I’m hoping come Friday that may ease a bit... 2 years ago decisions were out on the 23rd, last year the 22nd. So maybe if they follow the same trend it will be this Friday lol

I completely agree with you, ugh. Praying it’s this Friday and the outcome is positive... I can’t be an anxious ball of stress for ANOTHER week ?

Will our status change to “Eligible” and then give us a final decision after? They said 6-8 weeks and 6 weeks is coming up next week and I’m just wondering about the timeline here

Based on previous years, decisions came out on the last Friday in February. Do you think they’ll follow the same format this year and send them out on the 28th? That’s the start of UF’s spring break so I wonder if they would do that or if they’d send them earlier

Hello! I submitted my application a few days ago and all of my application checklist has been approved with the green "YES" and checkmark, except for the item" Have prerequisite admission requirements been met?" which still has the yellow "Pending Verification". Does anyone know what this entails? Is this the transfer orientation and whatnot? I'm confused and would appreciate if anyone could clear this up for me!

I just submitted my application! It seemed pretty easy and straightforward. Also just sent them my official TEAS score report. Does anyone know if we have to attend the transfer student orientation for consideration? Or can we put that off until we get accepted or denied?

I emailed Ken awhile back and he said as long as you used the UF code associated with the exam and therefore had UF listed as your school, the scores will be sent via email on your behalf after the December 1st deadline! He said you can also put the scores in the HESI section of NursingCAS to be safe I guess! Good to know! I submitted mine and there are green checks next to everything so I assumed it was good... they got my official transcripts automatically because I currently attend UF and I called the lady and she said now they just send it onto the CON and it’s up to them from there on out.

Hello! I submitted my application finally ? I guess now comes the hard part of waiting until February for final decisions! Based on last year’s thread they got the emails about the assessment in late December so hopefully that’s the same this year so we have something to hold us over until February...

I'm applying this year with around a 330 on my TEAS and unfortunately a pretty low pre-req GPA of 3.2... I do know someone last year who got in with around the same GPA and a slightly higher TEAS score though!

Hi there! I’m currently a senior at UF on the Public Health track applying to ABSN as well :) Really glad someone started a thread on this! I’m taking the HESI at the end of September and I’m kinda freaking out about the science and critical thinking parts. I did relatively well on the TEAS, which a lot of people say is harder than the HESI, so hopefully they’re right. The UF ABSN application opened today and doesn’t look too bad! I’m also thinking of applying to UNF, UCF, and possibly FSU...
